I'd rather see Yildirims daddy the nearly 50 year old Mock vs. Clenelo. It would be a disgraceful cherry pick on one hand. But on the other It would be cool to see the old but still capable geezer get a payday/opportunity like that.
Second Canelo fight at SMW after the one against Rocky Fielding. Honestly, even though I kinda like Yildirim, its a **** fight, the Turk was KTFO by Eubanks ffs, what can he do against one of the best P4P ?!? I blame this one on Benavidez, he's the one who ****ed up and now Canelo has the cheap option fo September he wanted so badly
Yildirim is a mummy. Couldn't they have at least gotten one of his daddies in Dirrell or Eubank to fight instead? We Be Clowns is really scraping the barrel with this one.
Hope they do make this and show you don't try holding up the division with none stop negotiating. For the last few years Saunders and Smith have done little more than complain about not getting big fights (despite being under the same promoter, along with Andrade) then tried to ask for too much. This would see them having wasted another year of their careers for being greedy self entitled ****s. Perfect. Does Yildirim deserve the pay day? **** no, but given his total lack of power at the table he'll likely take pennies, then we can get Canelo in a big fight next year with fans whilst Joe G complains about his man being ducked (despite them turning down a $5m offer and wanting $6m), and talks more about filling Anfield....whilst Saunders erm...talks about retiring and beating up women or whatever it is he's doing now. The WBC have gone from “the most prestigious belt” to an absolute joke of an organisation. This is absolutely disgraceful. How has Canelo suddenly leaped ahead of the diamond champion? If anything it should be Smith v Yildrim or Canelo leapfrogs Yildrim and it’s Smith vs Canelo.
