As much as I wanted (and in fairness still do) to see McKenna vs Davies, there is no excuse for that decision, Mimoune was a clear winner and it wasn't even close. I think if you're being really, really really generous to Tyrone you could maybe give him 4 rounds, but that's giving a couple that are 50-50 to him - no way he wins 5 let alone more.

Will be a good final but certainly not a deserved one on McKenna's part.

Yep the Frenchman was done up like a kipper and until these judges can be held accountable they will always be the get out of jail card for every promoter/platform.hope Ohara wins this-something I thought I'd never say.

I really would be in favour of cards being announced during a fight.

At least Mimoume would have know, right I cannot win on points I have to lay him out. Also think it would make it harder for the judges to do the robberies.

MTK seem to be the worst for this.

Does anyone know which promoter signed the winners to the six figure contracts everyone was promised?

Seems to have been completely missed by any of the news outlets.

Did MTK promise contracts to get the fighters into a tournament and then not follow through?

To me it didn't sound convincing that it was totally OD's decision not to take up the contract, maybe something amiss behind the scenes? He said it was because he doesn't want to go to the US and fight which is what the contract is for , surely he knew this from the outset ? Also wasn't he in trouble as a youngster , maybe there are visa issues etc, who knows.

Quite possibly, I would imagine a bang average British level fighter getting six figures to fight under the Top Rank banner would be fairly keen lol.

    Agreed on the Visa's etc.

Perhaps they have all agreed between each other that it was pointless to take up the contract.

To be fair the pandemic didn’t help the situation.

If Bolotniks isn’t earning 6 figures in a top rank fight and dickens vs Galahad isn’t on top rank it would be incredibly fishy.

my guess the guys took a laundered lump sum and a promise of fighting at Bolton leisure centre in the next couple of months
