Jack Johnson would be wrecked by RJJ and you're coping if you think otherwise

Roy Jones would hands down be his best and fastest opponent. His punching power was underrated. RJJ would be a god among men in the Boxing ring of 1908. In fact, if RJJ from 1997 were dropped into 1908, he would be remembered as an ATG heavyweight champion.

JJ would use those old time skills and KO Jones in the 45th round

Tbf Jones never proved he has the stamina to go 45 rounds.

Roy against big guys could not break an egg. Type Jimmy young punching power or less.
Jack johnson would make Jones his new toy clinching and playing with him.

Uh, okay I guess I mean Jack was in his prime 185?ish not a huge gap one might say John Ruiz is a better scalp then Johnson anyway.

I was being a bit facetious but what you say is a legitimate point. I think RJJ would tune JJ up for a while, but Johnson was durable and you never know. If he's allowed to roughhouse and clinch he might well wear Jones out and stop him later. Over a shorter distance, RJJ every time.

Johnson said he was at his best for Jeffries ,for which fight he was 208lbs.

Johnson proved that he could go more than 20 rounds when he was well past his prime. Much more rounds than roy ever did in his prime.

No contest Johnson probably wouldn't even be able to punch and clutch because Roy would be to slippery for him. Would probably be a rjj desision I say

I just don't think sharp shooting is the way to beat a counter puncher like Johnson.

On paper Jones pot shots his way to victory against everyone as long as he avoids getting tagged.

But what happens on paper isn't the best prediction imo.

I'm aware of that.Where does it state the fight is over 45rds,25rds, or 20rds?
