I like Johnson by dec,but Dempsey would always be dangerous ,especially in the first half of the fight.

I see a ko from out of the blue from Dempsey. He'd have trouble hurting Johnson, hed be getting tied up in the clinches and Johnson cracking him with his upper cut. But Dempsey doesn't give up and nails him with a power right.
    Dempsey ko 7.

It's a tough one for Dempsey no doubt s. He's got to be at his very best to beat him imo, and even then he doesn't have it all his own way.
The uppercut s coming from Johnson wouldn't tickle either!

Dempsey would destroy him. Too much speed and power. No way Johnson's chin holds up here. Even if Johnson tried to clinch he would find out that Dempsey was not to the type to be clinched as he was an infighter who could also be dirty.

Johnson is too flat footed and too slow for Dempsey. A John Ruiz type clinchfest like Johnson liked to do wouldn’t work either against a guy like Dempsey that has foot movement, hand speed, and head movement.

Johnson wasn't slow at all. He had very fast hands and could move well.

Compared to Dempsey he is slow and flat footed. Dempsey had foot movement, head movement, and speed that was far superior to Johnson. Not to mention power as well.

Yes indeed ,all Johnson had was defence ,it seems to have served him rather well.

Johnson was much superior defensively and he had better lead hand.
