You're not objective here. Horn beat Pac on many scorecards outside of Australia. I have no problem if you score the fight for Pac but it was a close fight and i think Horn did enough to win. Saying Horn hasn't won by any means is too harsh. Nevertheless i agree, he's a dirty fighter, and he definitely had a big advantage fighting in Queensland but lets be honest...this is boxing. One of the most corrupt sports out there. The A-Side always gets the nod. And Horn always was the A-Side at home. I don't get it why people are going so hard on Horn while tons of other fighters are getting away with it.
I'll say that it's one thing to score or for Horn. But like Lomachenko/Salido you can't ignore the role that the poor reffing and illegal tactics played in the fight. I stand by this and nothing can ever change my mind. In the states or anywhere caw in the world Horn loses to Pac in a totally one sided and lopsided fashion. You know me man. I've bashed the poor decisions in the states, England, Germany, France etc. In my view Horn is a fraud of titanic proportions because unlike someone like say Ward or Hopkins he has no elite skills. He is a domestic level fighter who made his name by cheating an ATG/Legend out of his belt. And he, team, deluded fans and local boxing press like to pretend to the contrary. And there's a long history of ultra-nationalistic Aussie boxing culture that has always rubbed me the wrong way. These guys take full advantage of that and exploit the gullible boxing public for all their worth. It needs to stop with Horn. He's taking the mantle from the BS that the likes of Green and Mundine pulled for years.
I'm not arguing the "Horn is a dirty fighter" argument. You're absolutely right. And you're probably also right that he would lose clearly to Pac outside of Australia but thats boxing man. He fought him in Australia and he won. He used some dirty **** and came through with it. Like other guys came through with it in the past. That's part of the sports. You think it'll be different with Tszyu? If he beats Horn, theoretically, you think he will lose a fight in Australia via decision? No way man. Tszyu also got some crazy ass scorecards against Wade Ryan. Without his name "Tszyu" and the prospect hype he would have lost that. Nobody would ****ing care about him then. But he was knocked down, lost many rounds and in the end he still won an UD. I could name like 10 example from the US where fighters got favorable refs, decisions and other **** POST covid lol. It is what it is. Look at this clown Romero a couple of days ago. Lost like 117-111 and got a 118-110 card in his favor. Thats much worse IMO because other guy never had a chance. Pac had a chance and the scorecards were close.
Horn was non stop holding and hitting from the opening bell he did not get warned once by the ref in fact Zerafa was the one getting warned even though it was Horn fighting dirty. Then when Zerafa eventually got to Horn the ref stepped in to save him it was ridiculous. To me it was obvious the ref was told to help Horn during the fight.
He is mate but they haven't ever got over the Pacquio result ,which went well and truly against there pre fight prediction,when they said Horn didn't belong in the same ring as Pacquio. Horns trainer may be a dick but Horn is and always definitely been 1 of the nice guys of the sport, despite those guys effort to continually talk **** and make up lies about him. Obviously not the most skilled fighter but credit to Horn for his toughness and overcoming his limitations in overachieving in his career. The way he fights and the wars he has been in are beginning to take there toll and i his best days are probably behind him,win or lose against Tszyu he likely still only has a couple fights left in him.

Yep I was at that fight and thought Ryan should of got the decision. I think Tszyu has improved since then. I am also surprised that Tszyu is the favourite with the bookies in this fight but it is due to Horn not being very skilled and having a glass jaw. Tszyu throws good straight punches and I think he should be able to time Horn and stop him late.
Yes alot still are fans but most of the guys are from NSW and down south and are choosing Tszyu in the fight which is being billed as state of origin fight and i am probably 1 of the only posters from QLD like Horn. I hope Horn wins obviously but i wouldn't be that surprised or upset with Tszyu winning
Well well well if it isn't Mr Party Boy, I was wondering when you were going to show up in this thread. Tszyu is going to continue the trend of NSW kicking QLD's butt in state of origin in recent years. I admire Tszyu for having the courage to step into the cesspool that is the state of Queensland where the deck will be heavily stacked against him.
He has had several epic meltdowns about Horn since the Pacquio fight any time his name is bought up and will be good seeing anpther 1 next week,he's already got the excuses ready before hand like his previous fights
He didn't have a choice despite trying to strong arm Horn on the rounds and venue,also because of the corona,the fight wouldn't even be happening this year if not in qld ,so shut up and just be grateful the fight ishappening at all, instead of constantly being a negative whiny *****
Hilarious you would even bring that up,yeah they won the last 2 series, which is as close to domination as it gets for the NSW,while QLD had won 11 of the previous 12,including 8 series in a row. QLD almost needing to let NSW get a win for the sake of competition,to keep interest in what is 1 of the major sporting events each year .
