There is no evidence Fury is ducking Whyte. If Fury drops his belt rather than face him then we can talk about ducking. If Fury can’t fight Wilder at the back end of the year he should be fighting Whyte.
If it makes money it makes cents. Might give Whyte a big pay day but the homeless of LA got a bigger pay check for Fury’s last fight than Whyte offers.., That’s the only reason this fight doesn’t happen. There’s no interest in it . Whyte doesn’t even have a punchers chance.
So he is willing to fight wilder Klitschko and Joshua but not Whyte!!!! Obviously fury would prefer the wilder fight next because it generates a big purse and he has the beating of him after that he wants Joshua because this would break all previous boxing records in terms of viewing figures and revenue, Whyte is a hard night for very little money so of course he is waiting as long as possible but to say say fury is scared is comical as I have stated many times Whyte gets his head jabbed off in a boring controlled landslide points victory!!!
Bloody hell this is getting embarrassing now. I like Whyte and he is due a shot at the world title, but nobody wants to see him get in the way of Fury vs Joshua. Fair enough he's been unlucky with the WBC's nonsense. But if he really wanted a world title shot he could have rematched Joshua. In a sane world he'd have snatched their hands off for the money they offered. Just a weird situation that Eddie has already got him some massively inflated paydays considering his achievements.
Fury v Whyte up next unless he ducks Whyte. Fury has a very weak CV and previous ducking form with Ustinov.
Tyson ducked, fat John ducked, in fact the only Fury that hasn’t is Hughie and he’s the one that should have!
So if Fury vacates does anyone see AJ putting his belts on the line all for a 50/50 split , I certainly don't. I would imagine when they agreed to the split it was on the assumption it would be for the undisputed title.
Agreed. I think Matchroom might quite like Whyte to lose tomorrow. The undisputed fight with Fury is huge and Whyte is the fly in the ointment. They'd know that Joshua is probably a slight underdog against Fury so would only really want that fight if it's for all the biggest event possible.
