Oh my lord you're boring, it's always the same **** with you, you literally only jump in when RJJs name pops up, its like you get a notifications on your phone.

RJJ chose to take a smaller payday than Steve Collins offered, to fight Frank ****ing Lucas, whilst Steve Collins was screaming his name from the high heavens.

Clear and blatant duck, and the longest running duck in history the way I see it.

That's the reason why he is the GOAT of ducking, you got to factor the length of his run as the most prolific ducker, it's an unheralded achievement.

    Oh dear.

    More BS.

Collins was busy with Benn all through 1996.

His team made offers to Roy in 1997, when Roy was up at LHW and in camp preparing for Griffin.

The longest running duck in history?

    Ha!

    Have a day off.

Roy was at a different weight and Collins pulled out of a fight with Calzaghe and then never fought again.

    He retired.

Btw, it was Eric Lucas, not Frank Lucas.

    The GOAT of ducking? SMH.

This is coming from you.

Your whole life is boxing forums.

He was chasing him since 95, so everything you said means nothing.

You know exactly what happened, yet you still refuse to believe it, it's the weirdest ****.

Here I am wasting my time talking to a brick wall, exactly what I didn't want to do.

If you wanna go over this again, I can gladly do a quick search and link you all the times someone has spelled it out in vain for you.

have you ever noticed a correlation between fighters who are not fighting in the US (and therefore not garnering the interest of the networks) and their inability to land big fights?

He wasn’t chasing him since 1995.

He was more than happy to fight Eubank and Benn twice each in 1995 and 1996.

Roy was reportedly offered $2m in Jan, 1997, when he was at LHW and in camp preparing to face Montell Griffin.

Seeing as though Roy was the greatest ever ducker, you must have a ton of other names who he also ducked.

Multiple time convicted woman beater. Patient in the ring when fighting world class boxers yet has no control and lets his fists fly against untrained females? Praise his boxing skills all you want but he isn't a good role model.

Steve Collins had been fighting in the US since his first fight.

    In chronological order for you.

But he wasn't an unknown quantity in the US, because he started his career there, he had a fairly big following going into the Reggie Johnson fight, that was in the US for a title.

Eubank was well known in America, Steve Collins beating him gave him a huge profile.

Watch the videos, and these aren't the only ones, they are clear definitive evidence of the longest running duck of all time.

That's just one of the fighters he ducked.

but to make big fights against the best fighters in the world, you garner the interests of the US networks. he didn't do that.
calling out jones on TV from the other side of the world and knocking on his front door do exactly nothing.

here's a list of some of the highest profile european fighters between MW and SMW who had a 'world title' or two, but never fought in the US when jones and hopkins were kings :

calzaghe, eubank, sturm, ottke, michaelewski, abraham (at MW), steiglitz - and collins from 1992...

what do they all have in common?
not one of them fought a prime jones or hopkins, even though they fought in the same division, or 1 division below.

chris eubank. add him to my list.
not one fight in the US.
yes, beating eubank was a feather in his cap, but if you don't build on that momentum by crossing the pond, nothing happens.
