    Right.

He called him out from Ireland after fights.

    And?

Roy was supposed to jump on a plane and go and fight him?

Collins was respected in the U.S. but he’d lost his biggest fights there. His claim to fame was beating a faded Eubank and a washed up Benn.

Collins didn’t fight in the U.S. at that point.

    He had no main belt.

He won the WBO belt from Eubank in a very close fight.

He didn’t make Roy an offer until Roy was at LHW and in camp for Griffin.

In 1999, HBO wouldn’t air the fight.

    Those are the facts.

Eubank wasn’t well known in the U.S.

Collins beating him did not give him a huge profile.

    Stop talking nonsense.

There was no demand stateside for a Collins fight.

The longest running duck of all time?

    I despair.

Who were the other guys who Roy ducked?

    Frazier?

    Dempsey?

What do you get out of going through this, over and over again?

You're a weird guy and I don't really want to interact with you.

If you want to rehash old arguments, refresh yourself on this.

You’re the guy who can’t back up his claims.

You must have been watching boxing for about a year.

Do you not know how things work?

Collins lost all of his biggest fights, which were against McCallum, Johnson and Kalambay.

He then beat a faded Eubank in a razor close decision to win a lightly regarded WBO belt.

He was then more than happy to fight him again before fighting Benn twice.

Yet it’s somehow a huge duck that the world’s best fighter didn’t jump through hoops to fight him?

    Why?

So what if he called him out after fights?

The fact is, he offered Roy small money when he was already in camp to face another fighter in another weight class.

He then retired 10 months later and never fought again.

If you think that that’s boxing’s longest duck, then you’re clueless.

Do I think European champions were less attractive to US fans? 100%

Do I think they were more attractive to US fans than the likes of Richard Frazier and Frank Lucas? 100%

Don't listen to Loudons fanboy narrative, even HBO wanted him to fight these guys, the American public wanted to see it, Roy didn't.

    How convenient.

I don’t suppose it has anything to do with the fact that you can’t refute any of what I’ve said.

Ricky Frazier was a mandatory that HBO didn’t want to air.

It’s one of the main reasons that they didn’t want to air a Collins fight afterwards.

The U.S. public didn’t want to see a Collins fight back then.

There was no demand to see Roy fight Collins.

They wanted him to fight Liles, Benn, Hill and Reggie around that timeframe.

Again, it’s Eric Lucas, not Frank.

No, it's because I've seen you have this argument too many times, it cringes me out, I feel like I'm enabling a crackheads addiction.

Like I said, I think you are a weird person, and I'd rather not interact with you.

being a more attractive opponent but staying away from the US creates a higher risk but low reward fighter.
i'm not saying the networks wouldn't have preferred these fights, i'm saying the fighters themselves (and their promoters) did nothing about it.

You’re talking out of your arse you ****ing clown.

You’ve got no idea what it’s like to be the nucleus of boxing, the trials and tribulations FMJ had to endure throughout his life were borderline biblical, he had to endure that hell for simply being the nucleus.

You simply don’t know what you’re talking about.

Well let me give you some advice.

Don’t make claims that you can’t substantiate.

    It makes you look foolish.
