I met him before Taylor vs Baranchyk. I was at the same hotel waiting for my mate to arrive, and he made a real effort talking to me on 3/4 separate occasions. I didn't want to take his time but he was more than happy to talk. Came across completely genuine, no pretence and you could tell he really cared about Josh and his other fighters. Could tell everyone around liked him as well.
One of our younger members ? McGuigan poured his heart and soul and a good few of his personal Quid into the Professional Boxers Association, a Boxers' trade union. Of course, Boxers being freelance, and promoters being what they are, it failed but he was so passionate about Fighters not winding up broke. Interestingly Barry Hearn was the only large scale promoter who helped Barry with cash and expertise. Anyone else tire of the hot air jobs on here there days ?
I've met Barry a few times over the years. Try going to a show or two son, you might meet all kinds of Boxing people at Boxing shows. Then you might have an opinion worth the time of day.
Probably not a wise move to be talking bad about the Kinahans. I hope nothing happens to Barry from this
I’d like to know why all his fighters or a large part end up falling out with him an ending in court ? There’s no smoke without fire, these are people much closer to him than fans or a quick convo

It's because the big outfits, mtk, Matchroom etc keep poaching his prospects. He does all the heavy lifting, investment etc building them up and the big boys swoop in and entice them away. They turn his boxers heads with dazzling offers Barry can't match.
I’m taking what you say onboard, I’ve met him twice and he was fine, once for a lad I knows first pro fight and another time on st Patrick’s day in a club in Brum. Perhaps I’ve took to much notice of the other sides opinion with him, but there is a passion in him where if you don’t go with his opinion he gets ruffled over the years I’ve picked up on..If there was a situation I’d say (only my opinion) he would show that same passion in not budging an inch when it could be sorted. Again just my opinion. It’s nothing I see as bad, it’s quite obvious he’d die for you if your under his banner, he’d be loyal, I’m just interested in the outcome of a few cases he has going, whether he is a bit sticky fingered when there’s dough on the table. The female boxer, Chantelle is it ? I’m not sure, of her last name. Her Dads on here, did that case get sorted or is it still ongoing ??
Chantelle Cameron. Haven't heard anything lately on that. A guy claiming to be her dad used to post on here. Seemed a nice guy, then again he'd be biased in favour of his daughter.
