    Sure. But Wilder isn't very good man. He's struggled with lesser opponents than Whyte. To say Whyte wouldn't have had a decent chance is hyperbolic nonsense.

    It doesn't matter. Whyte would do exactly what he did tonight, play it safe, then pay for it. Whyte knows his chin is terrible and tends to be risk averse against punchers, a match with Wilder would look like the first round against Helenius, only he'd go down and stay down.

    There is a difference between "is able to make it close and then getting knocked out" or "has a decent chance TO WIN". I think Whyste would probably win rounds against Wilder but there is no way he survives 12 rounds with him. Wilder woudl kill him at some point. And you can say a lot about Wilder but he has a good chin. He can get hurt and rocked but you need to ****ing kill him to take him out.

    Not shot. Just not learning the subtleties quick enough to add to his boxing IQ.

    Many boxers spend most of their time getting into excellent (endurance) shape and the repetitive drills and pad work actually stop them learning and progressing. Taking an hour or two every day just to learn new drills and footwork patterns could enhance a boxing IQ significantly.

    Just watch an old Mike Tyson video with him on the pads with Kevin Rooney. He soaks everything up like a sponge. Rooney had his form millimeter perfect.

    He hasn't fought Joshua or Povetkin either. Wilder is a glass jawed fighter man. It is not up for debate.

    ill throw this opinion out, i think whyte peaked in the joshua fight, he was so mobile but weirdly since then he was more of a slow plodder that waits. And joshua also peaked in that fight too, but most people wouldnt agree with that.

    Genuinely can't believe the hate Povetkin is getting for the rematch with Whyte.

    This isn't the first rematch between two top ten contenders.

    I mean yeah Povetkin won by ko, the decks are stacked in his favour. But props for him wanting to prove its no fluke. Props for Whyte wanting to avenge his loss.

    Fury vs Wilder, AJ vs Pulev, Usyk vs Chisora, Povetkin vs Whyte. The division is alive again.
