Povetkin would be a good opponent for Wilder, who's coming off a loss.

Who wins? Can Wilder land his atomic bomb of a right hand on Povetkin?

Wilder will catch Povetkin first with his massive reach advantage unless Pov can slip his jab and throw counter hooks the way M.Tyson did v much longer, bigger men.

Wilder ducked Povetkin 5 years ago. Tonight was more proof as to why.

There's no telling If Wilder will be able to beat a journeyman now with how badly Fury took his soul. Hes posting videos of himself twerking now - the signs of going off the rails are there.

I would not pick Wilder to beat Povetkin if Sascha was 60.

Given that Povetkin won a lawsuit for a false PEDS cancellation, this fight will never happen anyway.

Exactly Wilder does not want that smoke even at 40 years old he would be the second best name on his resume.

At this point it’s 50/50 fight 5 years ago Povetkin slaughters Wilder. Wilder’s team knew it too - it’s why they flew home from England forcing the cancellation of their fight before the wbc - who sanctions the bout - even made a ruling.

 Wilders gone from being the greatest puncher of all time to the greatest punchbag of all time in the space of one fight… Boxing fans are so fickle man.. Wilders a belll end & technically lacking in certain departments lol but the guy still dropped Fury twice & sparked Ortiz twice… he's not exactly a pushover is he? And I can't stand the *****

In his last five fights, Povetkin was ruled down twice against Joshua, twice against Whyte and once against Price. The only guys who didn't put him down were Hughie and Hunter, who aren't known for their power.

Wilder is a great finisher. He'd hurt Povetkin early and stop him. I'd still love to see it.

For the record, Povetkin admitted he took illegal PEDs before the Wilder fight, he just said he took them before they were banned. Then he failed a second drug test later the same year before the Stiverne fight. So all this mincing now that Povetkin was somehow cheated is nonsense. Povetkin was failing drug tests throughout 2016, not just against Wilder. He was a straight up cheater.

I imagine it's a good thing for Alexander there's no testing for this one. Povetkin hasn't actually been a KO artist in recent years when there has been testing. Hearn sure loves the PED heads, as long as they don't get popped.

Great KO, nonetheless. I'm glad it was a conclusive finish.

My youngest daughter was in the room with me today, and I didn't realize I yelled when Whyte was iced until she said I startled her. (LOL)

    Wilder KO2 Povetkin.

Wilder catches povetkin within the first 3 rounds. He's way, way more dangerousthan dillian Whyte

If slow plodding Whyte can have Povetkin down twice early in a fight povetkin has zero chance against Wilder
