Ppl say we're the weird sign, the oddball of the bunch so I've heard, is it true in your experience?

smith ate a massive alvarez shot one leg lifted off the ground. then he plants it waits 10 seconds and ends the round in a barage.
    I expected Smith to win.

Same, Smith's chin is underrated as ****. Might be the best at LHW. As is his power, Alvarez is teak tough, and that like they said, was a statement, he boxed beautifully tonight, not sitting down on every shot, wore him down, and then poured it on him late. Joe Smith Jr. just put on a masterclass. Bring on a Barrera rematch, just because.... what the hell.:sisi1

I dont know about masterclass but that was a statement in being relentless and having big balls.

Usually most signs work well together, especially Aquarius, who feel they have someone that can understand them. Leos and Scorpios usually dislike their own signs I've noticed. Usually because they tend to be ultra resentful and jealous and don't want someone too much like them hogging the spotlight.

For Joe, it was a masterclass, he boxed well at every range, he controlled range well, defended well, rolled with shots better, changed up the speed of his punches and had a far more varied punch selection. That lost to Bivol really set a fire under his ass.

Two warriors. My hat's off to them. Smith has real power and the guy has to have some of the longest arms I have seen at that division.

Looking through the LHW rankings I'm struggling to think of anyone outside of Beterbiev and Bivol he can't beat and even then he still stands a chance of pulling off an upset against them if he lands the bomb. He applies so much pressure (and more intelligently these days) is very physically strong and has a great engine on him, got a very solid chin and mixes up his punches and his attacks nicely, sinks in really heavy body shots, and obviously he's got those heavy heavy hands too.

His uppercut is still ugly and he was giving Alvarez opportunities to catch him with that big right counter by needlessly dropping his hands and Alvarez did punish him for it numerous times. But other than that he's really established himself as one of the top fighters in the division even though his style is a bit ungainly and one which makes it easier to underrate him.

Yeah, I was surprised to see Bivol beat Smith. I wasn't aware of that.

He actually took a couple of rounds off Bivol and hurt him pretty badly at the end of the 10th with a huge right hand over the top. He's the only fighter to have hurt Bivol and the later doesn't give rounds away very often and is one of the best fighters in the sport and a real talent.
