And as I remember, whenever Bivol and Smith got close and tied up, they got immediately separated. Smith however does a lot of his best work at close range(Fonfara comes to mind).
Smith fought Bivols fights and still had success. Show you that he isn´t just a cavemen. And good boxers actually learn from their losses.

porter went distance , 5/1 , also thank me next time for the 3.0 and 7.0 tips on joe smith buying money , as predicted alvarez looked old and was beat down ,and then stopped , cha ching smith was being underrated because bivol is less mainstream than kovalev , smith just might beat anybody not named bivol , him vs bertebiev , or callum johnson wow

This is a really good win and performance and on any other weekend it would probably get more attention but the povetkin thing just happened so it's been slightly overshadowed , but it was a brutal stoppage , he walked through him

Went to bed before this fight started, just watched it back, Smith put on a beating on Alvarez, he dominated the fight, I'm sure everyone on here including me expected Alvarez to win the rounds with a possibility of Smith Jr KO.

Smith, without a doubt, has incredible fire power. The only chink in the armor may be his whiskers. He seems to get rocked at times by blows that don't appear to be that heavy. To date, he has withstood them and come back but that is my only concern.

Robert Brant should fight Habib Ahmed. Was supposed to happen a few months ago and Brant pulled out

Yes he's definitely learned from his losses and improved a lot.

Caught up with this today, I was very impressed by Smith Jr, he looked better than ever, improving all the time, which means he is still listening and learning and that's a great sign.

Smith looked like he was on the construction site as he nailed Alverez to the canvas with one hammering blow after the other. .Good performance

Porter wasn’t 5/1 to win a decision on my book

    Good call on Smith
