They have never been hit by a shot like that, it was like the shots that floored Takam and Price, only Fury might have got up.
definitely a 9. They aren't rare though, as we see them at least every other week. Not that much at top10 level, but quite common anyway.
This right here. And also Whyte’s tendency to leave all his weight on the front foot, and not having the foot work to shift back and forth fluently enough. So, when he reaches, which he does a lot, he is very vulnerable. Not taking anything away from Povetkin though. It was a peach of a shot and timed to perfection, by a seasoned pro who did his home work. Not even Joshua did THAT to Whyte.
lol at Trolls disparaging Povetkin's KO punch. It was a beautifully timed shot, not a lucky punch, from a 40+ yr old guy who had been KNOCKED DOWN TWICE in the previous round. For my two cents worth, I'd say that the punch would have knocked down every HW out there, and KO'd most of them.
Yes they have. Cool it Mark, you're spazzing out a little too much. It was like the shot that floored Price you say? You mean the same guy KO'd by Christian Hammer and Erkan Teper? As far as Usyk goes, not only did he stand up to flush shots from Gassiev, like the example @FastSmith7 provided, but remember, Usyk also stood up to flush shots from Mairis Briedis, you know... the guy that KO'd Charr cold, a lot more impressively than Povetkin, that guy? Andy Ruiz stood up to some inhuman shots from AJ and kept coming and to address your other quoting of me, yeah... I know Ruiz got dropped, and? He took it, as in he got back up, and ate a straight right that was twice as hard, and didn't go down. Then kept coming. The question was, who could take that shot? Well most of the guys I mentioned, sans maybe Christian Hammer. because they'd get back up. People who can't take it, are the ones who get knocked out cold, you know... like Dillian Whyte?
Whyte's chin was up in the air. If he had it tucked and he braces himself he likely doesn't get KO'd. Just saying. Like Mike Tyson says, it's not just how hard the punch is, it's where you hit them.
