After 4-5 years of losing touch im making a real effort to start watching modern domestic boxing to get to know about fighters ive never heard of. So i watched channel 5"s show I was shocked by how good /tasteful the ring and lighting and big screens looked on this hennsessy show. I also liked the c5 commentart team.....George Groves was a revelation.Woodhall still the consumate pro and unscrupulously unbiased as ever. I saw isaac chamberlein fight in an entertaining tussle..and immediately after learnt hes back on channel 5.......in 2 weeks Excellent i thought.....boxing promoted the way it used to be....seeing stars grow right in front of your eyes
Its a shame they could'nt get the event started an hour earlier so it covered the co main live and if lucky squeeze in another, that was my only gripe about it, other than that the production was as good as any of the rest we have seen, and thankfully no over head drone footage, though Sugden did manage to get "Sweet Caroline" on as his walk on tune, hated that
Pitters reminded me a bit of Ronald Hearns...seems limited at this stage.. but hes learning...and a good win over a very game Sugden
