No, he's not HOF worthy with a 23-1 record and really only 1 win over a special boxer (Wlad), albeit an old washed up one.
Compare his resume to Povetkins and you'll see a huge difference in opponents skills and records.

Beat Fury, reign for 5 years beating everyone in sight, then we can talk HOF.

Joshua beat Klitschko and Povetkin himself though haha. Besides a younger Wlad who on Povetkin’s resume would you back to beat Joshua?

A (prime) Hasim Rahman. Chris Byrd. Ruslan Chagaev. All very good chances of defeating Joshua.

Joshua’s beats all 3. Povetkin never even fought a prime Hasim Rahman lmao so you can’t even say that.

I feel like AJ and Fudy is already in tbh.. If Wilder beats Fury in the trilogy then he’s in for sure.. Reasons being

AJ has made 6 defenses and unified 3 belts defeating the likes of Wlad Klitschko, Povetkin, Whyte and Parker. Also recently he lost and reclaimed his titles. In a sense his career is very similar to Lennox Lewis who’s best wins were 37 year old Holyfield, 36 year Tyson, and Vitali Klitschko.1 or 2 more defenses would make him a lock..

Fury although he doesn’t have the defense to match AJ he has the elite wins. He ended Wlad’s long term reign as the dominant HW and he ended Wilder’s long term WBC reign.. He also has solid wins against the like of Chisora.. Again where he lacks is depth but his big wins are heavily weighted especially if he adds AJ.. His career is similar to Bowe who lacks long term dominance but his victory of prime undefeated Holyfield is highly acclaimed..

Whether you like Wilder or not if you put his WBC reign next Vitali’s you would not be able to tell the difference. If Vitali is viewed as HOF the so should Wilder. But a victory over Fury or AJ to go along with his multiple defenses would make him a guarantee lock..

For What? A good career yes, but it is not great I think Fury at this point is closer to the hall of fame then AJ.

Yeah maybe in the mr olympia competition just behind Dexter Jackson. Anthony is just a poser, it will only be a matter of time before he's KOed again by another obese specimen. lol

Maybe. The winner of Joshua vs Fury should make the hall of fame, provided they aren't upset by another fat man or 40 year old during their career.

Right now Rhaman has the better resume and he has not sniffed the hall of fame.

I know people dont warm to his personality and mr humble, but he is a hall of famer, dont be daft.

Okay Martin wasnt a great win to gain the title, but many picked him to beat AJ before the fight.

He has wins over Whyte, Povetkin, Parker, Takam, Ruiz, Klitschko etc. I'm not his biggest fan but other than Fury fight, he has basically fought all the best fighters of his era. Who is he missing? Granddad Ortiz and Wilder who turned out to be a bit of a bum anyway. I haven't included Usyk yet as he is yet to fight at HW and dubois etc haven't earned their shot at AJ.

AJ cant win. Every time he wins, his opposition is suddenly a bum. He cant help the fact he is in a weak division, and it's the politics behind the fights that stops them being made. AJ isnt scared of fighting Fury and vice versa. Blame the industry not the fighter. As title holder you fight the guys around you in the top 10 and he has done this throughout his career.

People dont like the fact he has such a following and he is given godlike respect by the casuals, even though he has his flaws.

But, if you get over your own ego and desire to prove you knew he was a fraud to everyone the moment he slips up you'll see actually yes he is a HOFer.

God help us if he wasnt in the division. Would likely still see klitschko around, Fury wouldn't have been motivated to come back and the lights of Ortiz vs Wilder would be the best out there right now
