To be fair, @Saintpat 's job here is done. He wanted LaMotta out of the top ten and it's happened. Everything else is a happy bonus now.

I personally find Hopkins #4, but I am content with 5 considering that this forum does not always speak highly of him.

Like Monzon, who was also an eyesore to watch, his accomplishments will age well. Give it a decade or three and he might move up.

I think B-Hop gets rated pretty fairly, as long as he's not rated too high or too low. Number five is his wheelhouse.

I really liked your comments on Hagler, it displays a very objective attitude in a sport where looking at one's favorite fighter is perhaps the least objective observation in all of sports. There are few of these lists where some at the top can't be shuffled around, for the record I have Hagler higher, after some research Greb must be #1 then Hagler followed by Monzon. I think Robinson was vulnerable at 160 so he's #4.

That was my first thought when Bernard appeared at #5, I watched his entire career and personally I'd be more comfortable with him being in the 8-10 range. Which in over 100 years of boxing ain't bad.

All in all that’s a pretty good list, regardless of the odd occurrences. It makes me wonder if we as participants of the survey should have put more effort in questioning others lists and offering our own insights. Hindsight is a beautiful thing though.

Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, gene tunney and bob foster have one voter who didn’t put them in the top 15 light heavy weights means there is a voter who DKSAB.

I don't like this list. At all. Although I rarely like a light-heavyweight list that isn't my own, TBF. There's just some oddities which make this list not to my liking. Why is Langford there? Why is Jones there? Bivins outside the top 10? Johnson outside top 10? Foster above Loughran? Spinks above Loughran? They (we) did get some stuff right, though. John Henry is a virtual lock for top 10, so I'm glad he was there. Same with the top 2*. Sadly, it doesn't make up for it. Nope, I'm not a fan. This is 100% correct:

    #15. Lloyd Marshall
    #14. Roy Jones Jr.
    #13. Billy Conn
    #12. Matthew Saad Muhammad
    #11. Jack Delaney
    #10. Harold Johnson
    #9. Maxie Rosenbloom
    #8. Jimmy Bivins
    #7. Michael Spinks
    #6. John Henry Lewis
    #5. Tommy Loughran
    #4. Gene Tunney
    #3. Harry Greb
    #2. Archie Moore
    #1. Ezzard Charles

*Who the **** didn't have Charles top 15?

All those top 10 are in my top 15 so I'd say it's a good list.

The biggest head scratcher is that Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore didn't make every list.

I'm amazed Charles didn't get all 24 votes tbh.
