    With Povetkin having banished former long term WBC number contender to the shadow realm and removed Tyson Fury's obligation to defend against him should he dispatch Wilder for the third time, will Eddie risk the Fury AJ super fight by letting Joshua face Usyk after Pulev?

    Why does this leave the former undisputed cruiserweight king? What skullduggery lay in store for the Kurgan?

    I think the entire world knows that the WBO is going to split off the title when Joshua faces fury, and sanction Usyk-Parker for the vacant.

    He'll be fine.

    I can see them wanting to do Chisora and then maybes Povetkin if he beats Whyte again. I dont think theyll throw Whyte in with Usyk though if he wins a rematch.

    Hes WBO mandatory so he'll get that shot next year, hopefully after Joshua v Fury if they dont find a way to **** that fight up though probably will. It is boxing afterall.

    Will he get a fight with the Joshua Fury winner though? Somehow I doubt it.

    Povetkin should forget the rematch and demand a title shot. He has a lot of momentum right now and a rematch does nothing for him.

    I still think it's ridiculous Usyk is getting a title shot so easily. He's no where near proven yet.

    The heavyweight division will be straight for the scrap heap once that scrawny Usyk wins a vacant paper title from the wbo.

    It's a standard thing for champs moving up to be able to challenge the WBO champ in the division above. It's far from the worst idea in boxing.

    Parker?? He is done for a while now. Struggled with both Leapai and Winters, who got knocked out easily by that club fighter Babic...

    Usyk vs Chisora should be for the WBO interim belt instead, both men would beat Parker anyway.

    I think perhaps they should got a Title Eliminator immediately if they are undisputed in a different weight, but not a title shot.

    They should have to take the scalp of the top contender first.

    Well that's pretty much what has happened anyway. It's not like Fast Car hasn't frozen him out of his direct route to a shot is it?

    Usyk has played along in exchange for a few paydays in the meantime that haven't materialised so he's prob gutted that he let that fraud Pulev steal a march on him in the mando stakes.

    Chazz witherspoon wasn't a title eliminator, though. Usyk has essentially just taken the number 1 spot. He should be made to fight Parker, who's number 2, in an eliminator.
