Names alone hold little meaning. Vitali dominated nearly his entire list hardly losing rounds while Wilder was outboxed by just about everyone including a seventy one year old Ortiz before landing his war crime of a right hand.
Briggs and prime Adamek are arguably better than anyone on Widers resume. Also it’s not just who he beat but how he did it. You got Wilder struggling and going life and death with the Molina and Washington’s of boxing meanwhile Vitali beats everyone comfortably and either KO’s them or schools them without dropping more than a round or two. Vitali levels above.
Well that's all he needed to beat ortiz twice, salvage a draw v fury (I had it for fury), breazeale etc Names do mean something when it comes to quality. Would sosnowski, adamek, chisora, charr beat ortiz? I doubt it
I seriously doubt Briggs would lay a glove on fury, ortiz would beat him. In fact that Briggs would probably only beat Molina and stiverne 2nd fight version. Maybe szpilka
Wilder does make me cringe. However out the 2 his double win over ortiz is better than any on Vitalis. Maybe 30-1 peter could beat him
