Can’t see any heavyweight taking a left hook like that without at least getting dropped. Lethal asf.

Pads don’t hit back. Easier to look great on them, I mean look at 53 year old Mike Tyson.

Has never quit in his life. Why did you even mention this anyway? Where is the relevance?

Look at the impact, listen to the sound of it and how much the pad mans arm snaps back. That is not a shot any heavyweight can afford to take.

Is this your first time watching someone hit pads? Middleweight amateurs can make gunshot sounds and hurt a mitt holders hands.

Looks like AJ is leaving his body a bit open when he throws the RH.

He was throwing that exact same hook when he got KTFD by Ortiz.

So let's not get too carried away here, chap.

Fury faced the two biggest punchers, Wlad and Wilder. He got hit by RHs and LHs from both. Wlad and Wilder both nailed him with clean RHs. Even though it's not his money punch, Wilder landed a huge lunging LH in the 12th of the first fight straight after the KD. Wlad landed some sneaky hooks, Fury was worried about them if you listen to corner audio (where Uncle Meth tells him to just keep his glove up, as though Wlad's LH isn't something to be highly concerned about).

Point is, everybody knows AJ has dangerous power, but he doesn't have more dangerous power than Wlad and Wilder. So Fury isn't going to be intimidated or have no idea how to deal with a big puncher. He knows he can get caught, it's boxing. But AJ would be the third ''KO artist'' Fury has faced and we'll see in the Pulev fight if AJ actually now can be called a KO artist or if he's still running away from smaller men after the Ruiz PTSD.

hahahaha, did you ever watch Elite boxers smashing the pads? Lmfao at you are going horny on such a BS. Additionally he doesn't even look good smashing them, look at his upper body, how robotic he's moving and how he's exposing his chin. Epic thread this is. This is a good example how somebody who probably only watched Joshua fights and training videos in his life trying to hype up something which isn't even great for elite standards. Look at Canelo smashing the Pads. I don't like him but this is a different world. Even Mike Tyson looks better. Pads are pads and a fight is a fight. As we saw Joshua isn't somebody who should get involved in a phone booth war.

    BS.
Plenty of examples where guys took ridiculous bombs.

But, if one can't see it coming, then sure.

I know it's a practice and he's focusing on the left hook, the right is more a distraction shot but look how slow he's bringing both the right and the left hand back to his head/chin after throwing. Additionally he's just staying in boxing range and would give his opponent a solid chance to counter or to throw back. It's only a 10 second video and we all don't know what exactly he was training there but as a guy who saw the majority of his fights it's fitting the pattern. Joshua is decent in throwing some right and left hook bombs but overall he just lacks some of those boxing mechanics like moving in&out, bringing his hands back to the chin/head, closing a combination with some upper body movement to avoid a counter and such stuff. Of course he's looking great technically here but i mean it's a two punch combination and he's one of the elite HWs in the world so i would be shocked if he looks like Charlie Zelenoff.

Line up any top 10 heavyweight and give him a free hit on another top 10 heavyweights chin without any attempt to move out the way and yeah, they're getting knocked out.

But this is why people have head movement, defences and feet movement.
