I'm hopeful but cant get the image of seth Mitchell out of my mind. Strong tank of a heavyweight with good offensive skills and power that just eroded away in the face of resistance I need to see him face adversity before I rate him. Hes done his job so far knocking these guys out and hes fighting guys with winning records they are just mostly unknown. His current opponent will probably give away 30 pounds in weight
GGG didn’t step up his comp til he was about 33 and failed to convince. Dubois is stepping up at age 22 after 15 fights, let’s see how he fares. I expect him to dispatch Joyce within 6 rounds.
dubois hasnt stepped up to top domestic level yet to even warrant a comparison. At the end of the day dubois might fail to even get to the level of rogan and mcdermott
If he does...man.. exciting times ahead then. That’s a big “if” though. Pretty sure GGG’s chin is made from recovered materials that crash landed on earth decades ago.
Really.. I'm exactly the opposite way round... Feel like dubois will pummel Joyce before he even registered he's been punched in his enormous slow moving head lol
But he's so slow... When I hear people talk about Joyce I feel like I'm watching a different fighter than everyone else... He throws punches like he's encased in marmite lol
Joyce yh old but aging pretty well tbf, and has a very good chin. No denying isn't the fastest but does carry plenty of power and works a wide range of high low combo's. Let's face it gonna be a big step up for dubois, wouldn't rule him tho has got talent. Great aggressive style to watch and has youth on his side. I still see it 50/50
