a feat for which he doesn't get enough credit for. I can't think of many that have excelled in MMA, Boxing and Kickboxing. He also did Sambo while in the military.

    Russian Airborne Troops Sambo champion.

    Eurasia Combat Sambo champion

Yeah I’ve talked to him about it loads of times but unfortunately then fights just don’t pay enough. He did say to me that he was only taking fights that he thought he had a chance of winning whilst getting a decent bit of money but I think because of the pandemic that might not be the case anymore.
Danny’s a proper good guy and real gentleman so I do hope this doesn’t continue much longer.

Impressive. He still hits like a truck but he's slow or rather to quote Alen 'The Savage'' Babic: ''S-L-A-O''

In his early Pride days he was quite lean and fleet of foot. He was on the leaner side of 215-230 then as opposed to his recent 250-270 weights. Injuries definitely robbed him of his nimbleness so he just decided to become a plodder who sat down on all of his punches. I'd say it's worked out fairly well for him considering his longevity.

Lean Kharitonov had some serious handspeed.

I used to love watching Pride and he was definitely considerably faster back then. I always thought he was a scary looking dude

Always had a mean streak. He put a bad beating on poor Murilo Rua(a great fighter in his own right) Supposedly Ninja suffered permant brain damage as the result of this fight. He still had one more good showing against Quinton Jackson in his next fight one(widely considered a robbery - Rampage himself admits Ninja won)

Yeah I remember. Didn't know that about Ninja suffering permanent damage though
