The division is stacked. A few big fights already scheduled! It's an amazing time to be a boxing fan. Putting together what's already on the calendar with potential other match ups. Who comes out on top?? Lomachenko Teofimo Lopez Gervonta Davis Leo Santa Cruz Ryan Garcia Jorge Linares Devin Haney Oscar Valdez + You have Shakur Stevenson coming up from feather eventually as he fills up his frame. Here is how I see it; Round 1: Lopez, Davis, Garcia, Haney win. Round 2: Haney and Lopez remain on top. Round 3: Haney outboxes Lopez. Haney wins the lightweight crown.
Loma is an extraordinary talent, but I feel like he is too small for lightweight. Guys like Haney and Davis and even Shakur Stevenson are bigger than him and Loma already starting to show some dents in his last few fights. I wouldnt be surprised if he beats Lopez, but then he has to fight big dudes like Davis and Haney who are quick on their feet and strong....we will see!
I mean. If you had even basic common sense you wouldn't see anything wrong with this post. Lomachenko is 32. If politics prevent some of these fights from happening for 2 or 3 years even, yeah. Very preemptive on my part lol.
Lomachenko dominates and stops Teofimo Lopez, Gervonta Davis, Leo Santa Cruz, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney and Oscar Valdez and has already dominated and stopped. Jorge Linares. None of them have anything to offer to Loma that he hasn't seen before.
So people think Loma is de-facto gonna defeat all these guys? I like Loma but he is stretching his physical stature at this point at lightweight. He is not Pacquiao and won't go to 147 and ko people the same way.
That's wishful thinking....maybe two weight classes below these guys would be easily beatable, but not at 135. Loma already got dropped by old Linares.
No need to start slinging mud. He's already old enough for you to claim he's aged out as soon as he loses just like GGG. For example Crawford is the same age as Loma. Does that mean it's fair to say he "aged out" as soon as he loses a fight?
