Dave Allen on a PPV card.. FFS Hearn literally has zero shame. I hope Sky step in on that one and say "No", what a boring fight, Allen has no business being on a PPV card, you know what will happen, Fury will jab, jab, jab, throw a few right hands, Allen the walking punchbag plodding forward, throwing the odd bodyshot, loses on points, wide decision. Afterwards, Allen has his standard IFL interview in the changing room, where he makes a few jokes, hints at problems behind the scenes, says he felt great and his plan was to wear Hughie out and take over second half of the fight but he just couldn't get going.. maybe he even overtrained this time and he will have some time off and make a decision on his future. It's so predictable and boring, pointless also, Hughie is going backwards if he fights Allen, Allen is English Title level at best. If Hearn really does go full monty with the pee taking, Expect David Price on the card, Hearn will give it the old "it's a heavyweight bonanza, a real solid night of heavyweight boxing, real 50/50 fights, crossroads fights" and and don't forget Price will be in "The Last Chance Saloon" for the 8th or 9th time. I think the lanky chinless wonder actually lives in that saloon. I don't think I can cope with this crap any longer, I might start a one man protest out Matchroom HQ.
Horrendous. Include “Courtenay in her big comeback fight, anything could happen!” “Benn in a really nice step up, anything could happen!” “Cracking domestic scrap between two guys you don’t know, anything could happen!”
Too good Dave Allen's IFL TV post fight interview in the changing room may also include references to investment properties bought and being set for life and admissions of knowing he is not the best boxer in the world but he's a "hard, hard man". The saloon part is so f'ing funny and 100% true. There should be a thread on Sky/Matchroom cliches.
And the obligatory "look Kugan it's only £20. If you dont want to pay dont I dont care i ain't forcing you"
So around 300k PPV Buys. Pretty impressive for a fight in a back garden. Rematch should do more. Love or hate him can't deny Whyte is a draw.
Brillant and so true, don’t forget Eddie’s newer one of judge me after the card witch is complete opposite of ppv seeing as we can’t watch then decide to buy if it’s entertained us.
