Nope he didn't!Sharkey won eberysingle round to the point of low blow when he was DQed!

Schmeling beat Joe Louis, much better version of Joe Louis than Marciano faced. This win alone is better than any of Marciano.

Then Schmeling had a lot of solid wins - Stribling, Sharkey, Hamas, Uzcudun, Walker, Neusel.

Listen, I'm not saying that Schmeling was better than Marciano but what he did to Louis in the first fight wouldn't be replicated by Rocky. Rocky fought much differently than Schmeling and he wouldn't try to outbox and counterpunch Louis.

 

Yes he did and nope Schmelling accordin to eye witnesses and scorecards didn't won any single round to the DQ.
Sharkey defintely proves his superiority but also his stupidity because instead finishing what he started he low blowed but Schmelling acted a bit more to win the fight.

To my eye Sharkey's jab and activity kept him in the fight in a manner of speaking, he still lost two thirds of the rounds and took a severe trashing from Schmeling's right hand. In no way could a impartial observer whole actually watched the fight and really paid attention see this battle in favor of Sharkey. But he did win rounds to my eye.

It were three rounds and only thrid round was clearly for Sharkey. Have you seen them? Sharkey wasn't close of stopping Schmeling so why should we care about such a small sample of size?

I never said that Schmeling won all the rounds, it was good competitive battle. Schmeling won more rounds though and landed harder blows. It was clear decision for Max to me, although Sharkey was game all fight long.

Schmelling was old and Louis was green and inexperienced.Louis whom Marciano faced who beat Walcott would beat that Louis easier than Schmelling did.
This win is not better than two over Walcott but Charles!

None of them was acutally goodcontender except Uz who had best win over ancient Wills and green Max Baer.
Walker should not even been mentioned here because he was ancient fat Welterweight and it was disgrace for Schmelling!

Well you don't know that since he outboxed Charles and beat him then.
Marciano could replicate that even easier because he had better defense,two fist power,chin,stamina and determination ehich old Max didn't have.

I saw them and Sharkey clearly win a of them jn may eyes and in eyes of judges.
Sharkey wasn't close to stolling him but was clearly beating him and outboxing him ehich shows he would won that night clearly.I care because he beat Schmelling to the point od DQ which was even fake act by Max.
