I think there would have been a 50/50 chance of that happening, Wilder`s style is so erratic that you just don`t know what might happen next, but he has slipped more shots than AJ has and has displayed more head movement.
AJ always covers up when hurt, he tried it with Ruiz but got picked apard Wlad missed 6 hooks as they bounced off AJ`s right glove as he covered up on the ropes, Mike Tyson was far better at splitting the guard like he did in his first bout v Bruno, he would have finished AJ there and then.
Haha he took bigger cleaner shots from Klitschko over 11 rounds dafty. “No way”. How Do you know he wouldn’t? He’s already proven he can take a massive amount of punishment and come back to win in the Klitschko fight yeah.
Klitschko’s right hand isn’t harder than Ortiz or Fury’s punches haha? Heard it all now. Embarrassing take.
Wlad's straight right hand is one of the hardest punches in boxing history. If anyone gets hit with that shot, there's a good chance that they're not getting back up.
I know there's too many variables but if Fury left him bambi legged for the whole fight with one straight right, Wlad knocks him out. I don't think Wilder has a bad chin, but Wlad is a huge puncher.
It’s funny because if wladimir punched like that most of his career he would have had easier victories and more USA fans but after losing to brewster and sanders he became more fearful of getting hit so he always put less weight in his cross after those fights most of the time. Reason he threw that cross with such force is because he got embarrassed by joshua knocking him down in the 5th so he went for broke and it worked momentarily, then he reverted to safety first and he ended up losing the fight.
Even Romanov, who doesn't punch that hard dropped Wilder with every punch he threw. Wlad would KO Wilder even with a heavy jab.
Cant believe you,ve put up a punch that joshua apparently took...and yet hes went down as soon as he could. Thats not exactly taking the punch well. Not just that but joshua was all over the place in that fight. Hes not took that punch well. Tbf it was a good punch but its hardly a good example of someone taking a punch well. Too many variables in boxing to decide if one fighters chins better than anothers quite like that. Fury backed wilder up but with joshuas size he probably wont be able to do the same. Its not that joshuas chins better its just that against fury wilder was more exposed and easier to get to. Joshua survives because hes harder to get to even when hurt with his size/weight etc. Hes still a big unit to get to. Doesnt mean his chins any good. Its not. Its his biggest weakness. How easy it is to hurt him. His reaction to it and how long it takes him to recover. Due to his size/length/heart/fitness/fundamentals etc. He,s actually quite difficult to get out of there....doesnt change the fact his chins not great tho.
I mean nobody knows nor will anyone ever know but I will say this about Wilder's chin: it is HIGHLY underrated especially considering he has been blasted flush with power shots consistently and throughout most or all his fights his entire career and had never been stopped before Fury - 'll while being built like a total beanpole for the majority of his career - fightnight weight usually around 211 lbs for many fights. But it's his TOUGHNESS that is the most underrated aspect of his. No question about it - f he gets floored by that shot or any other - he IS UNDOUBTEDLY getting up and fighting on if there is any part of him that is coherrent enough to raise him to his feet. And he will keep doing so if he keeps getting dropped. He will willingly pick himself off the canvas to knowingly go meet his executioner and go out on his shield. No doubt in my mind he'd rather got out on his shield in a casket than lose by decision or corner stoppage. Wilder says more stupid **** than most boxers in history, but he was dead-on honest when he said he enters the ring to kill or be killed. You can dislike him as a fighter or person but you gotta respect that. The dude IS a dog.
what fights on Wilder's resume are you using for those " hard punches he has taken" the dude has fought laughable competition.
I’m making the point that Wilder would have been put to sleep by that punch 100%. Joshua obviously has a decent chin as you can see from the shots he’s taken in his career. I even made a video of the biggest shots he took from Klitschko, Povetkin and Whyte. This content is protected
