I’m positive Holyfield would’ve beaten Tyson in 91

Hey arsehole first put all those troll quotes and insults in your moronic arse! You are getting horny watching Tyson are you?
Peak Tyson is 1986-1991!So shut up!No one could be past prime at 23 years old as you stupid Tyson dumb ***gots wants to be!If he was "past" at 23 how he knocked Stewart and beat Ruddock twice after that fight? So shut up with those stupid arguments like past prime at 23 years old!
Douglas well prepared for Holyfield but Holyfield proved Douglas was a bum and Tyson even worse and paper champ you idiot!
Tyson beat Stewart faster than Holyfield when Stewart was past and Holmes who was atleast in shape for Holyfield fight!
But Holyfield beat Douglas,Tillis and Lennox easier and atleast faced someone like Foreman and Bowe instead Tyson ducking them!

That is the single piece of legitimate though speculative evidence that has been submitted.
But it is very possible he just did not believe steroids were worth it or that effective.
If he has denied using anything & just says he regrets using a single substance-what has been most famously asspciated with giving Holyfield strength that surprised him-that does not show he that he ever used anything.

He might have, & if so I would think that he would have after the long prison layoff to get back to speed.
But we have no decent indication if he ever used anything.

He trained for those fights, he didn't train properly for Douglas.

A 91 Holyfield was smaller and not as strong. And a prime Tyson was a much better counter-puncher

He trained for every single fight after Tucker fight which was his motivation to become HW champion of the world!
That's how he beat Berbick,McCall,Page amd Tyson but failed against Holyfield!

A 91 who beat Douglas,Foreman and later beat Bowe was enough big to knocked giant Douglas and beat huge Bowe and Foreman whom Tyson again ducked and who were stronger than Tyson.
A prime Tyson was soo good counter puncher that he almost got beaten by Tillis whom Holyfield knocked like a sisy girl!

People make out like 88 Tyson was invincible, far from it, a good boxer who can also give it him back would beat him, someone who can time his slips, feint make him slip then hit him, Ali beats him, I believe Bowe beats him, Lennox Lewis beats him, George Foreman beats him, Vitali Klitschko beats him, Holyfield beats him, I believe all of these stop him at some point too, Tyson was not mentally strong, when he hit someone his hardest and they keep throwing back, that discourages Tyson and Tyson tended to gas’s after round 5, sure he would win the first few, but they all beat him down the stretch by wearing him down and breaking his will

This just shows how little you know about the sport. Holyfield’s whole style was literally aggressive counter punching, Tyson wasn’t even a counter puncher, and Holyfield may not have been as strong but he was very strong and far more durable

    Prime Tyson was 86-88, moron.
Anyone could be past prime at 23-24 if he doesn't train properly, does coke, alcohol and hookers. Yes, Tyson was not old, but he didn't take Douglas seriously. Plus his skillset diminished after he fired Rooney.
After he lost to Douglas, it was more than obvious he wasn't gonna be that stupid to make the same mistake again. He trained for Ruddock and Stewart, but you could see how he wasn't the same Tyson. A 88 Tyson would not have slugged it out like a dummy, he would of out-boxed them and pick his shots.

Douglas was not prepared for Holyfield, he was 15 pounds overweight. You're the IDIOT.
Douglas was no bum, he was a good boxer with great fundamentals, he just did not love boxing that much and only gave it his all for the Tyson bout, after his mother had died.

Using your stupid thinking, Holyfield beat Tilias when he was past it.
And Holmes was 4 years older when he faced Holyfield and took him the distance, while he couldn't even last 4 rounds against Tyson.
    STYLES make FIGHTS, you moron.

Holyfield never beat Lewis, he lost both times. Clueless moron.

Nobody is invincible, but Tyson was pretty close to being just that.

Ali stands no chance, the stylistic matchup favors Tyson bigtime.
Pre Steward Lewis gets KOd, with Steward by his side, it's pretty even, but Tyson still has a slight edge cause he can get under Lewis's jab and do some serious damage.
Bowe vs Tyson is 50:50. Bowe has one of the best chances, cause he was a very good inside boxer.
Vitali also stands a good chance if he can use his height effectively.
Foreman has a slight stylistic advantage, but he's very slow and likely to get hit a lot. If Lyle could knock him down countless times, imagine what Tyson could do.
Holyfield stands no chance against a prime Tyson.

That's utter garbage, a completely stupid cliche that some moron cam up with and many clueless people have been using ever since.
Tyson was very strong mentally. Tucker was not afraid, yet Tyson won. Smith was not afraid, yet Tyson won. Douglas beat him up all night, yet he never gave up.
When he lost, Tyson did so cause:
    - he wasn't prepared, was doing drugs, alcohol and hookers
    - his life was in turmoil
    - he wasn't good enough anymore.

Shavers hit Holmes with his best shot, yet Holmes got up and won.
Tyson KO'd Holmes in 4 rounds, yet we're just gonna ignore that cause you're a Tyson hater, right ?!?

As some smart poster once said on this forum, Shavers used to put everything into his shots.
This is a stupid thing to do since you leave yourself open and vulnerable if you miss, but it makes the shot harder.
If all the top HWs would have done the same and put everything they had into a shot, I can guarantee you there are at least 10 or 20 that hit way harder than Shavers.

    Yes he was you moron.

Compared to an 88 Tyson, the 96 version was about 70% in terms of offense and about 50% in terms of defense.
    That is a huge difference.

A 96 Tyson was not as good as a 88 Tyson, in the same way a 74 Ali was not as good as a 67 Ali.

Could it be because homes was coming off a 2 year lay off and didn’t even train for that fight, he literally admitted that he was there for a check, and just because Tyson was a better finisher than shavers doesn’t mean he punched harder, and that put everything into one shot doesn’t mean anything, if Ali put everything into his shots he still wouldn’t punch nearly as hard as foreman. Shows how little you know really
