Has had a few other bogus decisions go against him as well. I haven't seen it but Price was adamant that Sokolowski had beaten Kash Ali in their first fight only to be robbed.

I think it suits the favoured fighter to beat him (because he’s known as a respectable gatekeeper) and probably Kamil to gallantly lose as it keeps getting him work.

Interesting that Warren hasn’t given him a call for Dubois. Shows that Kamil is rated.

Thought that might be the case. But I've seen people say that kind of thing on here in a serious tone so wasn't sure man. Decided to take the offensive approach to it lol. Apologies.

How has Darnell Boone not got a mention in this thread?

Knocked out Stevenson, beat Kovalev (in most people's eyes), and knocked down Ward.

Alex Stewart was a journeyman I’m a fan of, no defense, movement, or body work, but always came to fight and not just to survive. He could crack, and always came in good shape when he was young.

Yusuf Al Hamidi. Beat Crolla, beat John Murray but didn't get the nod. A highly decorated Amateur who was in Syrian national squad. The Gomez fight was taken in a few hrs notice and gave him some some real hard rds. 150 pro fights and over 300 am fights.
Theres many more who have been a massive credit to the sport.
Warburton, Peter Buckley, kristian Laight are just a few. And tbf a decent JM will earn more than 99% of the campaign fighters. Crazy but true.

Boone, same as Sokolowski and Khomitsky are recognised as gatekeepers rather than Journeyman. They play different roles and their attitude and approach to the game is different.
As well as their pay grades.

Adam Jones is the best I've seen on the British circuit.

Certainly think had things fell a different way for him he could've made some noise from the home corner.

Kevin Kingpin for me, not really a career journeyman but he is journeyman all the same.
He always brings the smoke the best he can and never just falls over for a check.
Always find myself wishing him On in his fights.

A few fighters mentioned here, I would call at least on the fringes of world class.

When I was going to fights, Peter Buckley was THE journeyman. In three hundred fights he was stopped only ten times, going the distance with the likes of Naseem, Medjkoune, Wenton, Gomez, Harrison, Brodie, Mullings, Oliver, Ingle, Alldis and Benichou, to name but eleven.
