Brook has excellent timing, not what it once was, but still very good. I think he will still land some big lead right hands and some well-timed uppercuts on the inside, but I’m not sure how much iKell has left, and like you said especially when it comes to making147 at 34 years old. He hasn’t fought at WW since Spence and he struggled to make 147 then.
Scoring this upset would almost guarantee a Spence rematch, which otherwise might currently be unattainable. If your assumption is that he doesn't have a prayer of not losing, then...yeah there are probably better ways he could spend his remaining time and scrape together cash.

Yeah, but this was after Kell got his taint hole busted and his leg slashed in Spain. He went into the fight wounded and still impressed with the jab and uppercut. Loose booty and all.

Well everything in Kell Brooks activity (or lack thereof) since the Spence fight tells me that he's holding out for the Khan fight primarily or any other final big money fight. My guess is that he doesn't trust his body much longer and he's stuck between weight classes.
