I'll start mine with Tua - Ibeabuchi fight. I have two points here:

    1) A lot of boxing fans consider this as questionable win for Ike, but I have watched it 3 times and every time scored it exactly the same: 116-112 for Ike Ibeabuchi. No controvercy at all in my opinion

    2) Another popular opinion about this bout is that it was one of the greatest fights in boxing, or at least heavyweight boxing history. But in my opinion, this fight was just very good, not special. It lacked drama - none of the fighters was seriously hurt at any point of the fight. I can't rate it on the same level as Foreman vs Lyle, Bowe vs Holyfield I, Moorer vs Cooper, Bowe vs Golota II fights

Hagler v Hearns is one great round but the rest of the fight is pretty one sided.

Modern heavies >>> Earlier heavies. Earlier heavies were far more skilled than modern heavies. Watch one round of Ali v Frazier and you see more skill than Furys full career.

Yeah I was ridiculed when i forecast Ike would beat Tua on a boxing forum, a now defunct one,
No one knew Ike outside of Texas & Tua was hailed as the next Tyson. Some were asking if he was Japanese as his surname sounded like he could be. After the fight their opinions changed
it was "where have you been hiding him he's AWESOME!!!!" That fight had the largest number of punches thrown by both fighters in a fight EVER Even more than Ali-Frazier & that was a 15 round fight
BTW I scored it same as you 116-112

The Gatti-Ward trilogy isn't as good as other great trilogies and is overrated.

I must admit, I hadn't watched Ali-Frazier for a while. I guess about 4 months back, I watched it again and I have to agree with you. It was like comparing chalk to cheese!

Andre Ward was pound for pound. To me he was a cheat allowed to get away with cheating.

Name one better, that trilogy had a lasting impact on both men, two warriors became the best of friends.
While it’s not the greatest example of boxing it’s a great example of how great boxing can be, its more than sport, two lives forever linked.
You can’t mention gatti without ward and vice versa and that for me is why it is right up there, it elevated both men through their display of heart.
    So I couldn’t disagree more

Bradley vs Pac was close, Horn vs Pac was close, Parker vs AJ was close, and Jacobs vs Canelo was close. I see most people have these wide in favor of the money fighter.

Roy Jones Jr is not an ATG. A legit HOFer, ATG reflexes yes, but ultimately falls short of Boxing’s Olympus where Ali, Louis, Robinson, Leonard, Armstrong and Pep reside.

I think current HW division is a joke and Fury is prob one of most overrated boxers ever. I also think Joshua who's is also overrated will beat Fury.

i understand why a lot of brits adore joe calzaghe, but the idea that the man is a G is ridiculous IMO, so that's a real contentious point when debating them.
i also think oscar is over-rated.

I'm still not convinced Riddick Bowe was all that.
