I can’t think of any cruiserweight in history that’s even close to being as lethal as he was, I’m not saying he’s the best fighter at that weight, but He was fast, very heavy handed, and just overall had a very devastating offensive arsenal, imo he’s definitely the most dangerous in that division. Edit: I’m not saying he was the most skilled or best ever at that weight but the most dangerous offensively
**** no! Evander Holyfield was king of the cruisers before he moved up to be king of the heavyweights. Right now, Usyk shits all over Haye. As for guys who would be cruisers from the old days, Marciano, Joe Louis, and Jack Dempsey are straight monsters.
Missing the point bro, he's probably more dangerous just not as good. There's more chance I getting knocked out by Haye than the other 2
I responded before noticing you edited.. Bit on that note you have a point.. Guys like Dorticos and Holyfield are people whom I think could match Hayes offensive arsenal but I can see Haye top 1-3..
If you're exclusively talking about the explosiveness and power in both hans, you might have a case. Though I'd still take Holyfield's power, counterpunching, in fighting craft, workrate and variety over him.
Shock and awe KD's and stoppages he's probably up there. But I actually really believe that if he had to fight in this era, he would just be one of the boys. I favor a couple of the current guys against him, because they can take a lot and dish out as well, while others had a very good chance.
