    ▪That Marquez was robbed against Chris John ;
    The fact is, he wasn't. Chris John did beat him fair and square, no controversy. All international journalists who watched the fight at ringside all acknowledged it.

    ▪That weight bullying exists ;
    I don't buy it. Because boxing is a sport of rules. If the rules say both boxers need to be weighed not more than certain point of weight to be considered eligible to fight in that weight category, that's it. That's why I love IBF second weigh-in rules, it requires the boxer to keep their shape more before battle.

    Absolutely spot on. A lot of those guys who fought in the 30s, 40s and 50s etc would probably all take a brutal beating from top guys in their weight classes today. Sport has evolved and fighters have access to better stuff to improve themselves as a boxer and athlete. Even in other sports like tennis. Imagine the best tennis players from the 40s, 50s and 60s going up against Djokovic. Would be as one sided as gang ****.

    Probably a gimmick but if not that’s harsh they can’t do anything about it lmao.

    I strongly disagree with you on this one, because boxing is a sport of rules, but many find a way to bend or break them.
    We've seen many instances of missing weight on purpose, with one of the boxers knowing their opponent probably won't pull out for the payday. That's weight bullying.
    We've seen many instances of failing or avoiding drugtests after having rehydrated up to 25lbs after the weigh-in and getting away with it. That's weight bullying (and cheating).
    We've seen many instances of boxers picking opponents from a lower weightclass with a smaller frame, being much bigger as their opponents on the night. That's weight bullying.

    1. That Tyson was mentally weak and folded everytime he faced adversity. That is utter garbage.
    2. That the old timers would beat more modern boxers
    3. That Mayweather is not a top 10 ATG all time
    4. That prime Ali was unbeatable

    Nah. He won a trilogy 2-1 against a legend he had 30lbs and 3 inches on. Nothing else. He ducked Lewis and in truth was too limited to be considered an ATG.

    You think someone who suffers from pyrophobia should be applying for the job of a fireman or someone who suffers from hydrophobia should be applying for the job of a lifeguard? If you've been cursed with below average punch resistance and can't take a pop on the whiskers stay the hell away from prize fighting. Simples.

    Some of the best most entertaining fighters in history had weak chins. Julian Jackson for example. You telling me Boxing would have been better off without him?

    Nothing remotely entertaining about watching supposed members of the male of our species bring embarrassment and shame on us real men.

    I know I’m just feeding the gimmick here but they thing is though most untrained men are gonna have glass chins because they haven’t been conditioned to take punches. What’s to say you could take a punch from a pro boxer in your weight class better than say Jackson or Khan etc?

    JLC was close no doubt.
    However I still don't get anyone claiming that Maidana beat Floyd.
    C'mon. Just no. Having a few isolated genuinely good moments and being generally a bit of a rough and tumble handful does not a fight win. Floyd clearly won the fight. He just had to work a bit harder than normal physically. I think the only people calling it for Maidana are those that really wanted Floyd to lose and just jump on every chance they get.

    Yeah but a fighter can not do anything about having a glass jaw. Its easy to sit on a boxing forum & critisise fighters & ridicule them when youve never been in there yourself. Every man that steps into a ring deserves respect. They put their lives on the line every time they do it.

    Maidana BEAT Floyd !! He had him in tears after the fight claiming the ref did nothing to stop Maidana " Roughing him up & beating him up" LOL. Floyd was used to Cortez mollycoddling him.
    It was FLOYD's job to stop Maidana beating him not the ref's
