Ortiz is the most skilled active heavyweight today, even more skilled than Usyk. Fury has the size and range Joshua has the size and training Wilder has the size and power Usyk has the mobility and speed None of the above know more about boxing than Ortiz, none are as crafty...Especially when you take into account Ortiz age
Ortiz is the better counter puncher, is better at positioning and setting up his punches. Joshua's jab is slightly better and his athletic abilities puts him ahead.
No... when Ortiz faces opponents that aren't crap, he schools them for 8 rounds, while they bide their time until his old ass gasses.
Did Hammer not make Povetkin look ordinary too? That fight was a stinker because Hammer shelled up against Povetkin just like he did against Ortiz. . Its neither guys fault that Hammer went into a shell , but the guy who hurt Hammer the most was Ortiz with a body shot. Joshua is a better all rounder but Ortiz is still a skilled counter puncher who could beat a lot of the plodders over the last 20 years. He only gets degraded because Wilder beat him twice.
"Povetkin (33-1, 23 KO) won by unanimous decision on scores of 119-109, 120-108, and 120-107. Hammer falls to 22-5 (12 KO) with the loss."
