    Not what I saw. I saw him being pretty rough and doing a pretty good job of being physical. He was throwing an oddly effective (at times) downward looping punch onto Floyd's head. However, it wasn't enough. Floyd was crisper, countering and hotting him with teh cleaner shots. It was a good attempt, I'll give him that. But he didn't win the fight.

    Why can Holyfield be considered an ATG, yet the man who beat him can't ?!?
    Plus Bowe never ducked Lewis, the match simply wasn't made due to financial reasons

    Maidana was rough he flirted with the rules but so did Floyd like he always does. Floyd couldnt handle him. He got BEAT!!. Thats why they got Mother Hen Kenny Bayless for the rematch he took away any chance Maidana had. LOL He even had the nerve to take a point off Maidana for the elbow shiver he landed on Floyd. You know the ones Floyd slings all fight long on opponents

    I will say though that Maidana did seriously rock Floyd in that rematch at the end of round 3 as the bell went. His legs stiffened and briefly jelly, he held onto the ropes as he sat down. But damn he took it well and kept his poker face.

    No most untrained men do not have glass chins at all. Most men have above average punch resistance but unfortunately our beloved sport has been infiltrated by an abundance of glass-jawed freaks and this has been actively encouraged every step of the way by the boxing establishment and TV networks who have a vested interest in fights ending in KOs for obvious reasons.

    Um.. yes they can CJ. They can seek out careers in non-combat sports if they insist on pursuing careers in that line of work.

    And no they do not deserve any respect at all.

    Strongly disagree with that. People who have never took a punch before would fold like a deck chair if a pro boxer hit them with 10 ounce gloves. You me and any average Joe probably couldn’t take a punch from a half decent puncher in the same weight category as us.
