I would pick Floyd to win but this fight could go either way.

he outlanded whitaker? no he didnt. whitaker was the champ and controlled the fight with his jab. whitakers jab was the only consistent punch landed period by either fighter.

and oscar couldnt get away from the jab. all night long and you are right. Whitaker did land other punches. He won that fight with his jab alone.

Pbf always loses polls but always wins real fights. Funny how that works.

Gimp always brings up what happened in Floyd's career until it doesn't suit his agenda. Funny how that works out.

Why don't you talk about De La Hoya jabbing the **** outta Floyd? Never talk about how Castillo and Maidana's pressure fighting bashed Floyd around?

But oh he beats Duran and prime De La Hoya, does he? LOL

Selective matchmaking at the higher weights.

Oscar's definitely grown underrated over time but the Floyd hate in this forum is childish. This would have been a very interesting fight.

I disagree nothing selective about it. Most of the guys he fought at 147 and above were champs or title holders or top 10 p4p ranked fighters at that time and people seem to forget that

Fighting Devon Alexander's leftovers twice, and then Berto, when a young lion in Thurman was there is called selective matchmaking. Floyd also didn't fight Paul Williams, or Margarito.

Pbf won all those fights dumbass that's what you fail to realize. Pbf doesnt have a Kirkland laing type loss or a torrecampo or horn even though you wish he did. Lmfao! Don't get mad at me that pbf was the most complete fighter of the era and didn't have a bad losses like your heros did.

Man pbf just schooled pac in the fight of the era in pac. He could have retired in the ring after that fight he had nothing left prove. He fought Berto to end his contract with Showtime. With that said the very fact he fought a guy like Berto who would be a good opponent for most.

Paul williams lost to quintana after he schooled margo. He rematched quintana at 147 and then moved up to 160. Who else fought Williams? Did mosley? Pac? Cotto? But I don't see you saying why didn't they fight Williams.

Margo aint worth talking about he's a cheating pos bum who never beat a fighter of note after being exposed for loading his gloves. Pbf schooled pac and shane two guys who pushed his **** in. He doesn't lose a round to that bum and you know it. Margo is too slow wide open and unskilled to beat pbf.

Pac fought thurman who was coming off a long layoff who looked like **** in his last fight. Yeah he beat him but he didnt dominate him and pac took alot of punishment in that fight. It's not like pac beat a pre-accident Spence or Crawford. Thurman isn't in their class.
