Could lewis use combination punching and excellence to overcome Fury's size?

Would this fight look like Louis vs Baer, or would it look more like Fury vs (name other opponent here) ?

Tyson Fury would win, Louis would be making cruiserweight in today’s era

Because Louis and Simon fought a lot like Fury?

Edit: Sorry, I of course meant Baer and Simon.

Fury would have ended up better off than Carnera, but not by too much. He'd be a stumbling, drunk Jethro Bodean lookin' mother****er in 11, ref stops the torment in 12.

Fury ain't anywhere near a Joe Louis. Let's see how he does against Wilder and Joshua before we start entertaining him against top 5 heavyweights. Just my opinion.

To me Tyson's biggest wins were over old man Klitschko (not really that impressive) and Wilder (very impressive, but I'd like to see Deontay have another go).

A journeyman cruiserweight who wasn't worthy of sniffing Joe Louis' jock had Fury flat on his back.

190+ Fighters back then had balls and chose to fight in an unlimited division and did just fine against mammoths like Carnera and Baer

Steve Cunningham wasn’t a journeyman and that was 7 years ago, Fury is a different fighter now

Steve Cunningham was 100% a journeyman at that stage of his career. How is fury a different fighter now? What difference does it even make?

Fury has more skill than the big men Louis fought but not more power.

Louis hits nearly as hard as Wilder but with far more speed and accuracy. IMO if Wilder and Cunningham can put him down, Louis will tko him.

People forget Louis was a solid 207 lbs before WW2 when he was at his peak. If Louis were fighting today, he could fight around 215 lbs comfortably without losing handspeed.

    Louis tko 10.
