They might have had the same idea, but they would not able to apply it against Mike

So I can use his fight with Wallin for example? Because that doesn't make him any better.
Because you said so? Who did Wilder stop to prove his power against top tier HWs with excellent chins? Louis list would be very long.
    ...and far less durable.
Maybe, but given his record against durable contenders and what we have on the film, I wouldn't bet on it. Anyone who doubts Louis power either hasn't seen his fights, has clear bias or has no clue about boxing.

    Why not?

It obviously didn't take a great fighter to do it.

The key difference was that Louis could infight!

Anthony Joshua gave you all a timely warning about bigging up active fighters, when he lost to Andy Ruiz Jr.

Perhaps Tyson Fury gave you another, when he went life and death with Otto Wallin, unless you think that Wallin is destined for big things of course.

My point is that an active fighter should have to prove a lot, before you pick them over an all time great.

One or two good wins shouldn't cut it!

I’d pick Fury to beat a lot of people but he ain’t beating Joe Louis...ever. Louis by KO

let’s remember as good as Fury has looked at times he’s looked very poor in others

I hold my hands up, I didn't expect Fury to get far past Euro level, early in his career.

In my partial defense, he didn't look like he was going to be all that good early on.

Somewhere it all seemed to come together!

Lewis knocked out WHO? I must have missed that. Lewis was getting beat when he won on a cut.

Fury and Joshua beat up an old boxer. Big deal.

No offense, I just respectfully disagree completely.

True, he fought other 6'4"+ fighters but they weren't MODERN SHWs. These were slow lumbering fighters with mediocre skill .
Maybe you know better this crap modern SHW definition but i think the skill and the speed is very important in this case by
their fans' opinion. Or Austin,Wach,McCline,Thompson were too good and big for Joe Louis... Sorry, but i doubt it.

True Lewis won by cut and this means a ko win. Otherwise Lewis' ko list isn't correct.
