Canelo made a big mistake suing DAZN & De La Hoya.

I don't know where canelo will go? He's not going to espn/top rank or PBC. At this point he really has no options and will be stuck with the DAZN and will have to take less.

 

He bent over backwards to make him millions so he could make millions too. Don't be silly.

 

If there's an act of god clause, I think Canelo loses. Pretty sure this pandemic would qualify.

 

Why would he not go to PBC or ESPN? They would welcome him with open arms. Dude is THE money generator in boxing.

So, right now it seems like DAZN isn´t willing to pay their agreed upon minimum no matter the opponent(even Smith or BJS). So Canelo should just sit down and shut up?

 

Suing both DAZN and Golden Boy tells me Canelo wants to go back on PPV and break from Oscar. Lets see if he wins in court, but it's looking like Its gonna be Canelo promotions from now on and his best option by far is Fox/SHO and work with Haymon's roster while still being independent to work with anyone else if he choses. IMO he's taking the Floyd route

Possibly. Al Haymon has a mean negotiation strategy. He got Mayweather that money in that Showtime deal when Floyd was in prison and possibly washed up. Canelo is still young and viable.

 

This is a mistake and will lose him money and support big time. GBP protected his record in close and not so close fights. I don't think this is going to end well for anyone, in particular Canelo.

You hear of all kinds of evil things that people do to each other, but I can't say I remember reading about someone having their leg or arm boned out (de-boned, whatever).

Imagine that. Having a leg without a shin bone. Or the reverse, as in having the bone but no muscle from the knee to ankle. Would be pretty horrible.
