Who had quicker hands in their primes, Holyfield or Holmes? Who had the faster feet?

Holmes jab and right hand, but Holyfield's left hook was more rapid though.

Holmes is quicker of both hand and foot, Holyfield more powerful.

Holmes had much quicker straight punches and faster feet, but Holyfield could throw faster combinations. If both met in their primes I’d put my money on Holmes

I would say Holmes was a shade faster than Holyfield, but it was hardly worth mentioning. Holyfield was more powerful as a few have said. These two were easily two of the fastest heavyweights of all time.

My first instinct was to say Holmes had the faster hands, but I think that might only be because of that rapier like jab that he's famed for.
    They are about equally fast.
About equal in foot speed too.

Holmes has the edge imho. Holyfield used to sometimes try put more mustard on his shots which could slow him down.

Holyfield IMO for both feet and general hand-speed. Although Larry's jab is quicker than any Holyfield shot. Or almost any HW shot.

The cruiser weight Holyfield was not more powerful. The PED heavyweight version might have been. Holmes had solid power, he seldom if ever gassed and his power stayed with him for 15 rounds.

Most of Holyfield's wins at cruiser are stoppages.

Holmes jab was the quickest punch either of the two had to offer but Holyfield put them together better
