Anyone who's saying he looks unhealthy is a moron hes got a milk white beard and a six pack. He got his shoulders and hip replaced which is why he looks so poor hitting the bag. He's not making a real comeback I don't get why everyone's up in arms lol

I remember when he fought Shaun George at 175 and could no longer take a good shot. Well over a decade later after dropping another 15 pounds, a hip replacement, and health problems? Any commission that allows him to fight would be a disgrace. He should just keep training, keep making Instagram videos, and try to inspire people who have gone through hard times to get in shape that way.

they should just make a seniors tour. Not gonna do any more damage to themselves then they already have. Unless they fight tyson who is the closest thing ive seen to a super human other then herchel walker. Herchel is above tyson though. Was ahead of his time diet wise and never partied.

Yeah but i talked about pesco vegetarians and vegetarians and believe me a lot of vegetarians arent selective at all when it comes to their diet, they eat a lot of trash too, only difference they cut out the meat and probably eat more veggies and they already have lower cancer rates.

you are lying to yourself bro.

I also believe that a vegan diet is not optimal for a high level athletes but here a few point i strongly disagree:

    1. byrd is not looking ungealthy, skinny and frail, if you think that then 90% on this board look like literally pudding. He looks very good for 50 and you know as much as I do that you would never say that to a 50 year old that would claim to be on a carnivore diet.

    2. jennings, bradley, haye and a couple of strong man and ufc fighters are vegan and compete at a very high level, considering that this diet form is only to the wide public for no more then 2 decades this is quit remarkable

    3. fish is healthier then meat. This doesnt even have to do anything with vegan or not vegan, fish is healthier then meat there are a hundred studies on this, the protein is better, fats are better. In most country's people living by the sea usually live longer then people that live in the inland which is mostly contributed to the facts that they eat fish, look at the japanese.

    4. it is literally impossible to produce meat in the quality that you label to be healthy, while maintaining the high level of consumption the average westerner has today. They would be half veggies anyway. Our planet can barely handle the current level were ethics and health are completely left aside and country's like Bangladesh or kenya not even consuming 10% of the usa.

Good points. But to me, Byrd looks unhealthy. And Haye suffered a ton of injuries as a vegan. Plus there have been plenty of high level athletes who turned vegan and their performances took a hit.

On the subject of meat production:

Large scale agriculture is eroding the soil, not free range animals.

He looks happy and in good shape. Having too much muscles is bad for you anyway.
