Is there anyone who can currently beat Canelo from 154-175?

good post, but regarding the bold... the same thing can be said about Canelo's last 4 opponents... none of those guys looked very good, and none of them could get their A-game going... Canelo is real sharp, and real punishing... like plenty of fighters have said about Mayweather, it is different once you get in there with him... JMW is long gone, Canelo can no longer make 154... between 160-175, I see two fighters who I think could possibly beat him... one is a SMW, and one is a LHW

I’d like to see Carl Froch come out of retirement and fight Canelo at 175. It’s the only Canelo PPV I would buy

Kovalev didn't look good vs Yarde either and had a rehydration clause.
Rocky Fielding got koed in 1 by Smith and had a rehydration clause.
Golovkin looked poor prior to fighting Canelo, as many GGG detractors will happily point out.
Jacobs is probably the guy you have most of an argument here for, but he also had rehydration clause, with a 1 million per pound penalty.

You'd have an argument if Canelo wasn't pulling all this A side bs. As it stands, you just pointed out two old fighters who looked past their best before fighting Canelo, Rocky Fielding (lol), and Daniel Jacobs.

    Lmao!!

Life and death with Yarde?? Hahaha... you show your ignorance.

Kovalev had one terrible round against Yarde, round 8.

In rounds 9-11 Kovalev was superb, was the fresher fighter, and the one landing all the clean punches.

The reason Kovalev got KTFO by Canelo was nothing more than he's a level below Canelo.

I don't care if you or any groupie or hater takes me serious. If you speak gibberish and I can be bothered to call you out I will.

You saying Kovalev went life and death with Yarde is ridiculous. He had one bad round in the eighth, and possibly lost the seventh closely.

Kovalev KTFO the younger stronger Yarde in the 11th round.

Kovalev proved once again his class. LtHW champion, a level below Canelo though.

As far as the current trend is making its way to the top. I think any old boxer should make a come back and claim to been the **** out of him. I don't know why the **** is this game is invaded by irrelevant people.
