i want to see the shoulder dumbell presses with 50 kgs each hand for 14. I think he might of gotten a bit carried away there. Then 140 for 21 A2G squats well, ummm possible? 140x8 bench, once again possible? I do know of someone who can bench 140 for 20+ but he videos all his lifts.
I wanted to see video of David Haye and De Mori but instead i got video of some idiot talking about what he thought when he saw video of David Haye and De Mori. 99% of their views come from frustrated people who didnt want to see or listen some idiots opinion
Mad I'm just watching that show and he's in mad shape to be fair seems a handy fighter too, finally an actual Hollywood tough guy.
Yes, & what is more unlikely about this are the claims that he had just returned to a "respectable" level of strength in 3 months without lifting at all for years. Which clealy implies he was somewhat stronger before. If he never used PEDs this would be unlikely even if he is a genetic outliar. He would need high levels of indigenous testoserone & a quite large bone structure. The only way it is likely to be true is if he also had a significant history of effective dosing with various PEDs. Which is possible, although someone who is vegan for years is less likely to have used these drugs. Now if it was POUNDS he was lifting-recall that it is 2.2 kilograms per pound-then the numbers he suggested are very plausible. STILL he would be somewhat stronger than the average man on the street, which would be impressive for someone who has not lifted at all for years. The bench press at 8 reps with 140 lbs. would be just a bit above average... But squatting just over 308 pounds for 21 ass to grass repetitions & barely above 110 lbs dumbbells in each HAND for 14 full range of motion repetitions is basically a massive amount of strength. Not at all someone returning to some "respectable" amount, & some mere percentage of what they used to do fairly soon after taking years off. This vegan would have to be carrying a very large amount of muscle mass.
He should work as an Asst trainer or something. He's smart, but not in this case of an attempted comeback.
nek minit he shows us the vids lol, wont hold my breath tho. This guy could be a unit,or some bullshitter, who knows.
Huh, what is "nek minit", you had a mini-stroke man? ;-) The problem is even if he had that strength-although it is unlikely-that will not prove that he did not lift for years! Also he is claiming to have been somewhat stronger in the past. And if he is linking this power with a vegan lifestyle, we need to know if he took PEDs-which would make diet fairly irrelevant if you are juicedd out of your mind-or used effectively on & off for years. Another odd thing: his bench press is relatively lower than his other lifts. I have no reason to believe he was not pushing the reps either to momentary muscular failure-or just as far with each lift. As looking things up just confirmed, a typical shoulder to bench press ratio is 2/3. Since the chest in not involved in the former, & you need to use stabilizing muscles for a standing press, including the ads + lower back/core. Mine at my peak was not that much over 50%...Someone who has disproportionately strong shoulders-or weak chest, whatever perspective you prefer might be up to 75-80%. But his numbers indicate that assuming pushing each exercise equally hard, which is the usual routine... It is very peculiar that it seems that his shoulder dumbell press (harder than a barbell too), works out to a little greater than his bench press in what he moves in weights & reps... It is almost bizarre to have a greater shoulder press (adding up the dumbells & reps lifted), for reps or 1 rep max, than a bench press., This along with him listing almost massove weights-& more so for someone who has not lifted in years... Has me wonder if the whole story is false.
well done. If i had lifts like that, there would definately be video or failing that i would perform in front of reputable people who could corroborate. My lifts suck at the moment so i see no point videoing, but believe you me,if i was shoulder dumbell pressing 50x14,there would be vid. Apply the old net adage"no vid,no care"
