The amount of gift decision Canelo received is just unbelievable. Even when he fought Floyd, he got 114-114 from C.J Ross that even FMJ surprised when he heard it. I, myself, scored the bout 120-108. I didn't find a single round where Canelo is winning. Yet the decisions from other judges indicated that they think Floyd lost 3-4 rounds. That was the first time ever in my life to find that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is actually robbed (despite of him winning the fight). The 'robber' must be very very good.
It has a lot to do with Canelo´s style as well. He throws these big, explosive punches that are eye catching. So those who are bad at judging can easily score rounds for him. And yes, actual professional judges can suck at their job. Not everyone is corrupt.
