Thurman Crawford Spence Algieri said Ruslan hit much harder than Spence This content is protected Algieri also says Manny has more single shot power than Spence Mikey said Lipinets hits harder than Spence This content is protected Lo Greco said Khan hits harder than Spence This content is protected Lamont Peterson said Lipinets hits harder than Spence too Spence has come in as low as 155 before but he came in at 162 for Lo Greco albeit it was an over the welter limit catchweight bout and realistically he weighs about 10lbs more than Ruslan, Lipinets, and Manny on fight night and obviously Khan has come up from 130. Crawford has always been a natural 147 pounder who cuts and rehydrated a lot of weight. He was coming in as high as 153 down at 135 and 157 at 140 and he's obviously bigger now since moving up to 147 Per his S&C coach ''We've trained harder since his last fight, putting more weight on him - good weight - putting some more muscle on him, and just getting him bigger, because we've always know he was going to have to move up in weight eventually, so that was a big part of it - just getting him heavier'' ''He has easily put on 10lbs of muscle all the while by maintaining speed and athleticism.'' Here he is weighing in the ''60s-70s'' range so probably bare minimum at least the late 160s and as you can see he still looks very lean and in fighting shape This content is protected He weighed more down at 135 than career 140 pounder Postol did against him and he had 5lbs on the Ukrainian on the night And more down at 140 than career 147 pounder Horn did against him. Horn weighed about 155-ish against him according to the graphic on TV and his trainer Egis comes in about 160 IIRC which is only 3lbs more than what Crawford weighed against Postol and Diaz down at 140 Crawford must be at least 162 on fight night and I wouldn't be surprised if he weighed a few pounds more. Thurman probably weighs 160-162. He weighed 162 for Guerrero This content is protected Robert Guerrero BEST PUNCHER Thurman: Thurman really knows how to put all his power behind his punches. Even when he’s moving laterally, he finds a way to land a big shot from a weird angle. He has power in both hands
Spence hasn’t knocked out any real fighters, his best accomplishment in terms of power is stopping a past it brook and scoring a flash kd over porter. Crawford hasn’t even faced any top welterweights either. Your argument doesn’t really apply to them
Yeah it depends how you look at it. I would also choose spence out of three to potentially deal out the most punishment
Spence he is also the most likely to stop you with a body-shot but Crawford is the fighter most likely to knock you out with one you didn't see coming
This thread has reinforced my frustration at what should be perhaps the most exciting weight class in boxing. We are reduced to forever discussing hypotheticals, whilst the fights we want to see grow ever more distant.
1. Thurman 2. Spence or Crawford Bundu who is a common opponent of Thurman and Spence, says that Thurman is the harder puncher.
Mikey doesn't see the final bell against Crawford or Thurman. And I don't know if old Pac can get Mikey out of there, but he would put a massive beating on Mikey.
Spence pounded fat Mikey with many body shots and it had no effect. Broner hurt Mikey with a body shot.
