Canelo vs Yildirim purse bid on September 21st

    Free boxing on Fox does good number as does boxing on ESPN. PPV is a whole different animal. I don’t know where your get this PBC PPV hype machine from. Their PPV numbers haven’t been anything spectacular. Yes Canelo is a name but he needs a decent dance partner for it to be a PPV. Just my opinion but 300k would be tops for this event. Hell I don’t think it does that.

    Sad/funny thing is that we might soon find out.

    I honestly think PBC is going to give this things a real go.

    There was a signed contract pre Covid. Post Covid they wanted to reduce his purse and give him 8 weeks. He felt he’s worth more than that. If he fights Smith in UK he earns $3m and after is in prime position to ask from a much bigger split from Canelo. He would be biggest fight outside of GGG as he would then hold 3 of the belts
