It has to be the food.
But, to be fair, Ruiz is "Mexican-American", as is Chris Arreola, who's also a fattie.
They're being overfed in the USA. It's the fast food joints as well as the home cooking, I reckon.

Exactly. If he’s planning to hold events in Asia Zhang in a few knock overs will help him build his DAZN profile there in a huge way. also expect him to sign Can Xu after the Warrington fight. Will likely have them fight on the Parker card he is putting on until he launches Matchroom Asia

Zhangs knock over jobs in China have come in half empty arenas so far. Eddie can't seriously imagine his Fast Car gimmick will change that, and at 37 (38 in May) the time simply isn't there for too many knockovers.

Is DAZN heading to China? A country rife with piracy, low average income and no notable interest in boxing? If it is it would need the NBA or Chinese super league contract to make a mark

So wonder what Xu's GBP contract is like and whether Eddie could muscle MPP out, Xu has seemed quite close and loyal to Lui Gang.

Can't help but think it's another case of Hearn thinking he knows better. The same guy that bragged about his deep pockets and got those big huge American stars Tevin Farmer, Demetrius Andrade and Maurice Hooker. Big needle movers.

The only logical thing is to sign him, pay him, cash him out for Hrgovic in the next 12 months.

MPP and Seca are the only two real promoters in China and they are doing the smart thing in China.

Seca are building novice fighters with tournaments, putting on regular shows, and keeping the product in front of eyes.

MPP are putting on higher level shows on the Asian scene, quickly developing guys like Xu, Ge and Tuolehazi.

Really can't see anyone else making a mark there in a profitable manner.

It's been 2 years that we've been heaving about Matchroom JP, in that time we've seen MTK JP launch and... Then the Japanese promoter they were working with being convicted of Tax Evasion. The closest we've come from Matchroom is their work with Nakornluang in Thailand, where they have pretty much worked a co-promotional deal with one of the fighters and piggy backed their content.

Talks of grandeur on the global scene from Eddie have so far lead to nothing.

I've always referred to fat American Heavyweights as fried chicken loving tubs of excrement. When Stiverne rocked up for Wilder 2 the only thing that surprised me was that he didn't have any empty fast food packaging stuck to him, absolute tub of the smelly stuff was Stiverne.

Stiverne 2(the fight not a single soul on earth was asking for) was ppv aswell I believe! Embarrassing tbh, just like wilders record of title defences and resume.

Eddie can put on a card in San Francisco, Zhang vs Allen - Big Bellys In Little China. Instead of Sweet Caroline they can play Scott Mckenzie - San Francisco for the sing a long, I'm a marketing genius.

We saw in the Rudenko fight that Zhang is better than the likes of Sefari, Pianetta, Schwarz, and Wallin.

Zhang has a better jab than Washington so he would cause Wilder just as many if not more problems than Washingtonnm did with his jab.
