Parker should win this but i don't think he knocks him out Parkers Power is over rated,he has never knocked anyone out of note Fun fight however
Depends from their shape. If this Briedis not in best his shape, then most likely 1 st fight = Parker via UD, 2 nd fight = Parker via UD, 3 rd fight = Parker via UD. If he is in best his shape and Parker makes mistake, Briedis might KO him.
Parker can be such a lethargic fighter at times, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Briedis decisioned him.
Briedis is a very skilled champion. He has great victories in cruiserweight division. He is very hardworking, experienced and has had busy fighting scedule. He lost to Usyk by middle decision. It was a very close fight, could go either way. Parker on the other hand took advantage of the situation and became a champion (for a short time). Against proper opponents, he lost. He lost to Ruiz too, in my opinion. And he is a lazy boxer, he hasn't fought a proper opponent for 2 years. Briedis would KTFO parker easily.
Who's his power overrated by? There are a couple of members here who would back him to jump in a time machine and knock out prime VitKlit, Oliver McCall and George Chuvalo on the same night. Pretty much everyone else is realistic about the fact he has average power at HW.
Briedis would outpoint Parker. I like Parker but he has a habit of underperforming in his biggest fights, and seems to have reached his ceiling in how high he can go. Briedis is far more talented and skilled, and has enough speed and sharpness of his own to hang with Parker. Plenty of pop as well, to keep Parker honest. I lost faith in Parker when he lost to Whyte, albeit controversially. He should never have let it get that down to the wire.
Those members you speak of Few others I've seen on various message boards share the same opinion It stems from his explosive first 20 plus fights where he was banging out bums on an impressive imo
To be fair to Parker he had Whyte totally out on his feet and if the ref stopped the fight as he probably should have and didn't let him hold you wouldn't be saying that.
Fatigue played a huge part in that Not so much power So im still of the same opinion He ain't weak, far from it but ive seen not one ko against decent opposition
I don't think he's a massive puncher but he also stunned Joshua (arguably not that great a feat given his chin issues). Basically his power is serviceable. Given he boxes well enough beforehand and breaks them down, he'd take most heavies out.
