No, he wasn't to Norton and no he wasn't to Frazier. Not saying either wasn't a brutal devastation but neither man was out cold. Both were TKOs.

Just because the styles don’t suit Ali, don’t mean he can’t still win

Yes he did, and I believe it was like the computer brain for the danged thing, something major, and he did not charge her near the going rate for it, he said they would call him the day before the fite, Bonavena he had no training, and flew to Buenos Aires for a ridiculous amount of money, I cannot remember they exact amount but $600 would not be out of the ballpark!

Foreman never won a long fight against good opponent.
Tyson won Tucker/Smith/Ruddock 2 fights by UD12.But he was only a 6 round fighter, sure…

Good point...especially if you count the Briggs fight as a loss (does ANYone actually count that as a loss on anything but paper?). I had George winning that by 6 points, one of the most shameful robberies of the decade imo.

Briggs at the time was considered a good opponent, for sure. Certainly good enough to gift him a lineal title he most certainly didn't deserve.

Good joke. Since when did bums like Lakusta, Peralta, Coetzer have become better than Smith or Tucker, who were world champions ?!

That same Peralta,Lakusta and Coetzer faced beat many HW champs and did much better than Smith who started at 28 years old and bum Tucker.
And Briggs,Morrison and Stewart were top fighters and Qawi was great.

Hey Combat...stick to Foreman threads only. You're not knowledgeable with anything regarding Mike Tyson. I mean, at all.

Smith and Tucker were the better boxers, it's not even up for debate.

Briggs and Morrison both beat Foreman, although I'll admit it was controversial in Briggs case.
Stewart gave Foreman a tough fight, past prime Tyson pulverized him.

This would be some shootout while it lasts! Either is capable of ending it early. Young George had stamina issues and if Tyson couldn't take his man out early he could get discouraged and lose enthusiasm. It could come down to an intangible such as heart, or fighting spirit. I believe George would use his physical advantages to best effect in the early rounds. I think George takes Mike's shots better than vice versa, and George would not be beaten before he enters the ring. George by early KO in a fight of the year!
