Yes I think so and so do many others. I get that people who have a Baltimore accent typically don’t sound too bright but he just sounds like punch drunk fighter. I’ve been watching his interviews and was hoping it was just his accent but it can’t be, he slurs and talks with a heavy tongue, and when he’s not being talked to he’s completely spaced out. Yes it’s true that a fighter can be punch drunk earlier in his life if he’s had a lot of amateur fights. I doubt it’s just because of his intelligence because I think we’ve all spoken to some dumb people before and I think we can all agree Davis sounds much more like a punch drunk person than a dumb one

He sounds like a mixture of both dumb and punch drunk. Dumb people don't slur or speak in that heavy-tongued way the way he does, and purely punch drunk people can still show their original intelligence when speaking. Davis neither sounds particularly sharp nor delivers what he's saying in an intelligible way. Sad really. He'll be a mess by the time he's forty.
