Dawson was always so erratic because of his training habits, family/friend/city issues, laziness, and thought he knew it all that we rarely if ever caught a glimpse of what he was truly capable of doing. I have known that maggot piece of **** since we were 10 or 11, trust me, if his personal life was sorted and his dumb ****ing ignorant head on straight, he would have gone down as an ultimately special ATG, generational talent, all the best accolades. Instead his a New Haven hero reject loser. congrats on that pal, way to go. your cit sucks by the way, traitorous part of Connecticut.

If I had $10k to spare, knew about Dawson's camp, focus, drive, determination, fire and it was all lit as **** - prime for prime I would bet every cent of that 10k on Dawson to KNOCK HIM THE **** OUT and leave him unconscious looking like his fellow Russian compatriot Kovalev, who is actually making more of a mockery of Russian boxing than impact.

Then I'd message Chad and let him know even though I thought he was a joke, thanks for winning me that money, and I hope you get brutally KO'd next"

Usually in sparring the best traits and abilities of a fighter are slightly highlighted at least compared to an actual fight because of the circumstances of the competition. Good sparring is easily one of the best and most accurate avenues of giving those traits and abilities shine, knowing this is a stallionnot some caveman radical russian.

I've rarely ever been able to compete against or spar against truly elite world competition, throughout my life. I have fought/sparred/trained with plenty of good and solid fighters and tough dudes. But it's those few opportunites against those truly gifted fighters that open your eyes to the possibilities of how amazinng and unbeatable they could possibly become.

Come off it. What do you even know about Dawson that you cannot find on wikipedia or boxrec?

Throughout this thread, I have never said I favor Dawson to beat AB. Prime for prime if they fought10 times I think Dawson ends up a paraplegic, but those other two times, if you know Dawson and boxing, on the perfect night under the best of circumstances, Dawson is PUTTING IT ON AB like he was a child and probably even five finger discounting his consciousness.

Actually Dawson left Mayweather because he said Mayweather Sr. had a nasty attitude and kept telling him he's going to get knocked out! He also said Mayweather wasn't spending enough time training him. Mayweather Sr. admitted he was telling Dawson he was going to get knocked out because Andre Dirrell was beating up Dawson in a sparring match, and Mayweather stopped the match because Dirrell was about to knock him out. So Mayweather Sr. kept telling Dawson that he's going to get his azz knocked out if he don't listen to him. Apparently Dawson left Mayweather after he kept saying it.

As a Dawson fan, I have to admit this is pretty accurate. Dawson had skills, but lacked mental fortitude. Him leaving Mayweather was proof of that, and hurt his chance to really evolve becasue he couldn't handle Mayweather Sr's old school way of training.

Dawson says he actually sparred Beterbiev

Said he's the strongest/hardest punching guy he's ever been in the ring with and has supernatural strength
